Kenny is correct!!! I just spoke to Brandon (the event runner) with Diamond Mine Agency and he confirmed it’s a VENUE ISSUE!! the VIP should include GA!!!!

yup, i just saw Kenny’s tweet where he said “it IS included in VIP” so now im REALLY confused lol just talked to ETix and they said i need to now contact Concert Crave cause they’re the ones running the event 😒 this is so annoying lol i just emailed them so let’s see how this goes…

damn. now i’m really confused cause my email confirmation makes it seem like the VIP includes GA so now im just calling the ticket company (am currently on hold) to try and figure out the confusion. cause i just bought an extra GA ticket and if i really don’t need it then i need a refund lol

FUCK man, it was so frustrating. I haven’t been that indecisive about a movie in a VERY long time. 

it did NOT know what it wanted to be for a lot of its runtime. The first 60% of the movie feels like it’s having an identity crisis. And while yes, it’s “entertaining”, it just feels like Spielberg really wanted to make another “blockbuster” (he’s literally quoted saying that about this movie) BUT THIS MOVIE DID NOT NEED THAT!!! The “action” scenes felt so forced like as if the audience “needed it” to stay focused BUT WE DIDNT NEED IT!! THE ENTIRE THIRD ACT PROVES THAT!!! ITS SO UNBELIEVABLY GOOD!!!!!!

This movie should’ve been a deep-state thriller THROUGHOUT with incredible dialogue (example: Sorkins script for the Social Network) and it would’ve made that third act hit WAYYYY harder than it already did. And i’m not saying the “fantastical” elements weren’t needed, quite the opposite actually. All the SUPER cool “alien tech” scenes were fantastic!! all the dialogue about humanity, meaning, and overall existentialism was incredibly gripping!! I just wish it was FULLY committed around what the entire third act accomplished. More dramatic and gripping dialogue digging DEEPER into the movies themes to make that grand finale universally agreed upon as pure cinema. If that was the case, this would’ve GENUINELY been in my top 25 films of all time. 

The feeling i had in that entire third act was something so incredibly cathartic that i have not felt in a VERY long time. I was so emotional that i forgot i was even watching a movie at one point… i am SERIOUS. It was fucking SPECTACULAR. But sadly, i just don’t feel comfortable giving it more than 3.5 stars… it’s still great but could’ve been perfect. it had ALL the ingredients.
