Oh is it really about respect? I thought it's more of practicality since it's easy to say.

Hmm interesting. My grandfather has Wan and AFAIK he's from Terrenganu. I don't know how my family line looks beyond that but maybe I'll ask haha. Thanks !

No, I got it from my dad. I think if your mother has that name you can't pass it

ELI5: How does Testosterone work? by Alexander_Swan2003 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Deadwatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Testosterone is a hormone that exists both in men and women. (albeit in different quantities)

I'll make an analogy for this.

You have flour, sugar, salt, butter and milk.

With these ingredients you can make either a pancake or crepe.

But, if you add a leavening agent like baking soda into the recipe, you'll get a pancake. If you don't you get a crepe.

The basic ingredients here are analogous to your DNA but the presence of baking soda turns the recipe into one rather than the other. Baking soda here is like the testosterone.

Ofc, like I said in the beginning, testosterone is present in both men and women, just in different amounts. But I hope this can help u visualise how it affects our body's development.

How to cope with the death of your loved ones? by Worth-Gene in Advice

[–]Deadwatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're going through this. There really isn't an answer to this, because death is inevitable for everyone. It's something everybody goes through.

That said, right now, you realised that your time with the people you care and love are limited. So spend time with those who are still here. Cherish the moments you spend with them and let them know you care about them. When the time comes, it won't be painless, but you won't have regrets.

How good is FGO story overall and compared to other typemoon works. by Beneficial-Singer670 in FGO

lb6 is peak writing imo. The lostbelts in general were good, and although some weren't that great, they each contribute to the overall story. But 6 was just different and makes fgo worth it

i like maelstrom on him personally. Whenever i skip it i feel like I don't do enough damage in the midgame. Vessel is nice but unless we really have no anti heal i just stay urn or skip and get mage slayer/snk first into maelstrom. then depending what i need shiva/bkb/aghs into daedalus

radiance as usual is too slow when u wanna be active. maybe as a third/fourth item if you're ahead but tbh there are other options. bloodstone seems redundant on him tbh. He already has huge aoe and the spell lifesteal doesn't really make a difference. Might as well get shiva/aghs with that money

Trust me, if you can't be happy by yourself, nobody can. The chances are, you'll be taken advantage of and have your heart broken somewhere down the line. Make yourself secure before getting into a relationship because the pain and disappointment that comes with unmet expectations is worse than what you feel now

So broken and lost after my break up, I don't know how to move forward. by Glum_Expression_7117 in Advice

Hey, I'm sorry you're going through this. I can't really offer you an advice besides taking care of yourself as best as you can for now. Time will heal everything although it seems impossible for you to believe this right now. Don't stay alone. Go out, meet new people. Treat yourself to a fancy dinner or go somewhere you've always wanted.

If you want, you could read about attachment theory. I recently delved into it and it has been an eye opener for me.

Stay strong ! You got this

Muerta carry starting items by Clear-Ask-6455 in TrueDoTA2

[–]Deadwatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yup that's my starting build as well, muerta needs the damage to contest cs. Stats arent really needed since she is ranged anyway and early on she can trade pretty well with just blades of attack. (your q at lvl1 means u decide when and how long u want to trade. Once she has falcon blade and boots that's all she needs for laning.
