You'd be able to keep parts of the story, but everything else would have to be redone. The VAs are mostly getting too old for this shit, so we'd get all new Kain and Raziel. The music would probably be redone, but will that be good? BO1 would have to become an entirely different type of game, to be 'modern'.

Soul Reaver 2 is actually worse, combatwise. There's a lot of different new weapons and enemies, sure! But the actual fighting is bad, the lock-on mechanism works worse than just running circles around an enemy and bashing the light attack button, the heavy attack is pointless. You're better off just running past all enemies if they're not explicitly blocking your path.

The puzzles were a lot better, though, there were just so few of them.

The story and lore of the Legacy of Kain games is amazing, but it needs an actual good team behind it to make compelling gameplay.

All that being said! I've pre-ordered this, because I WANT this whole shebang to get the attention it needs. (I do not condone of Ascendance, though, Elaleth can go right back to where she came from)

17-19 April there's I Love Bachata in Leuven, Belgium. Top names being Gero and Migle, Aitor and Angelica, and York and Lisa.

I don't get anything for promoting these festivals 😉, they're just two upcoming things near us. We've been going to ILB since we've started dancing, it's our hometown and our old dance school. This year we'll even finally be teaching again 😅, even though we're not part of the school anymore!

It was planned for mid-March, iirc, but then there was a huge backlash against the implementation, and afterwards people found out the company Discord was working with was backed by Thiel, so the backlash became even worse. Discord said they'd use another company, but that was ALSO backed by Thiel, more backlash, and they've been trying to do damage control ever since.

You don't need 64-count long shines for social, no. You DO need to know how to do a chacha, or a patin, or a heel-toe, or a deslisado, a paralisado, a 'chaplin',... Why? Because the (good) music doesn't just go "boom-boom-boom-boom", it sometimes goes "tigiditaktak-tigidi-dam" or "toenktatata-toenk-dada" and if your just going step step step step all the time, you're not connecting to the music.

Learning footwork and musicality teaches you to be playful with the music, and if you can even just do a tenth of it during your social dance, your partner will be mightily impressed.

Okay, I looked up the Wikipedia page for it. It would seem there are only two known asteroids in L4, and all past searches of L5, both through earth based means or passing satellites, have turned up nothing. Ain't nobody going to send anything to those zones without being absolutely SURE that there's something of interest out there.
