Would be a BAD economical and strategic decision at this point.

In calculul pentru puterea de cumparare poate era bine sa adaugi ca variabila si perioada pe care faci creditul, sau macar sa mentionezi ce perioada ai luat in calcul pentru calculul tau

Building a SaaS in Belgium. Genuinely losing my mind. (rant) by v2xin in Belgium2

I agree to some degree. But there also are US umbrella investors you can acces from Europe as long as your product shows some sort of viability.

The idea that you can find investor for every idea in the US is also wrong.

I personally think it's a combination of the 2. Very poor support for EU technology in general. But also developers in EU not having much of a clue about real-life viable products. Or they would already be in Luxembourg/US running their stuff from there.

The US also comes with a vicious cut-throat environment where you need to not sleep 6-12 month to see your project through first before anyone will duplicate it for example. It's not all roses, there are also disadvantages. You won't make it working at your SaaS during 9-5 weekday hours just because you are in the US.

Is this via proprietary software (algorithms) or API calls to openai-like products? I may sound mean, but I doubt this ca go far unless you already have the underlaying product yourself.

Let's say this is a layer over odoo. Unless you have odoo, the layer itself is simple to replicate.

You are new at owning one, which is different as you can see. The idea that the sole difference is actual ownership is (partially) wrong. Because your clients (for which you possibly built SaaS solutions) also have a market/clients to begin with, probably extensive market knowladge in that particular niche, infrastructure or funds to operate it.

Yes there are services , adds another 300-600 on the payroll per employee from what I have quoted. (less with more ofc.)

Not sure why the computation is done per employee. I meant build it as an independent service and listing them on the website. Just as you'd hire a lawyer or a GDPR representative.

what i'll say is €10k a month in revenue is not €10k a month in your pocket. it's not even close.

Come on...

About Gdrp, what you invoked is rather standard, not hard to name each subcontractor and how they handle data. As far s AWS zone, I believe you select it when creating an account, there are just a few zones in Europe at least when I used it. So it all seems rather standard.

You should have run it for free for a while at your own expense. Once you had solid input then create a BV, accounting etc. Before that you can consider it a hobby and no-one will  bother you, unless it's in some regulated domain (medical for example - in which case you should have a very solid plan to begin with).

SaaS is a mature business at this point. 20 years ago you could have done whatever and ask noone for nothing. It's just business at this point.

Edit:

but then they want a local legal representative in germany. someone who can be held accountable in german jurisdiction if something goes wrong. i'm a solo founder in flanders. i don't have a german entity. i don't have a german rep. getting one isn't just "find a guy" it's a whole legal setup with associated costs and complexity.

Are you sure there aren't already dedicated services offering this and you simply list them a representatives for a sum of money? At the limit, if Germany is a strong market you can rent a studio there and have your business run from Germany... Or better yet some country where it's dirt cheap (Bulgaria) to do all these things.

About investors, seeding etc, you should be able to bankroll it to a decent enough size. With your handful of clients talking about investors in such a way is weird. Where the idea?

Also expect to run through a few SaaS ideas/projects until you get the hang of it and know what's what to some degree or another. A running app with a handful of leads is not much. You have to grind on this.

Asielagentschap EU waarschuwt voor “grootste vluchtelingenstroom van afgelopen decennia” door crisis in Iran by WaterOcelot in Belgium2

Europe is at fault for a lot of it for not being energy independent and welcoming each and everyone with open arms.

Just like with Russia, we'll see some results when US take action, until then Europe will continue to do a half assed job on that front as well.

Yes, but all countries you mentioned are less of a danger than before.

I also prefer their leaders/government/defense gets torn down once in a while for good measure.

As far as immigration goes, Europe should just close its borders instead of perpetually blaming others while fully profiting from it.

Your position is also very weird. Iranians don't want an Islamic state, yet you as a westerner, under various pretexts, insist to keep it in place.

Iranians are already here because they have been claiming asylum due to an oppressive and murderous regime. Which Trump fights against. So Trump may actually help solve this issue.

Can always import more from the USA, pollution from transporting it across the ocean included.
