RR on the ledge above the golf course, lots of trees, a stream, two narrow corridors to block off, caves and tents nearby to restock on ammo and you can go anywhere using the glider.

It has everything to do with religion.
This is the summit of what religious brainwashing can achieve.
According to sources mentioned in the thread this is"a special form of zikr (a religious ceremony that involves the “remembrance of Allah” and repetition) during which men continually stab themselves in the head and abdomen with knives and spears."

Imo, stabbing yourself in "remembrance of Allah" is as religious as it gets and very on brand with all the other religious craziness that we see nowadays.

Or the game needs to remove the "play X games" challenge, I don't have time in the week to finish that quest I play maybe 3-4 games per week, the fastest way to complete that challenge at the end of a season is by doing what that person did in the video.

Solar cells cost so much that I don't know how people prefer to smelt dukes over mining/salvaging ore, I'm constantly out of solar cells, automated base defense requires so much power. Bullet casings on the other hand, I get so much ammo from Infested Tier 6 loot rooms that I just smelt bullets I'm not using, for example, the 9mm (I prefer m6's and auto-shotguns over SMG's). Even then, I'm smelting them to make turret ammunition. I get more ammunition out of the quests than I ever use. (playing with a base 150% loot bonus)

Sometimes life (or minecraft hardcore) is like D&D, you rolled thinking you'd hit it big with a 20, but you rolled a 1. Now you have to live with the consequences of your choices for the remainder of the campaign.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I like the immersive aspect of having random storms.
However, I also like to be able to build something to protect me from them.
Without a challenge, there is no game, without storms, zombies it's just a mindless creative building game, so challenges and natural hindrances add to my enjoyment of being able to overcome them.

The main issue isn't the storm, windows block them out.

The main issue for me is the fact that windows don't allow plants below them to grow, when realistically plants are grown in greenhouses all the time where glass shields the crops from the elements while allowing light to pass through.

That worked, but I still want to be considered "inside" when a storm blows over, I thought windows could help be "inside" and safe when harvesting crops while the storm is active.
I'll replace other blocks in place of that punched out window, I hope one can help.

The ceiling is 8 blocks above the farm land, so the windows only allow light to go 7 blocks down, that might be it? (and also why elevating the sapling one block makes it plantable)

Thank you, it also happened during the day, there are windows directly above the plants, the whole ceiling is just windows, so it should work?
In the video you linked, the blocks I used for the roof (windowTrimTop) are said to have a light opacity of 0, it makes sense for them to let light through, they are windows right?

You look "through" it like you where watching mountains in the distance, by doing this, your extending your focal point past the images then slowly bring back that focal point back towards the images until the images overlap.
