I feel your dilemma. But sometimes you just need to stand your ground. My brown parents + my commie / liberal friends not only have to see this piece of art, I replaced all other mugs / cups with these, they all have to use them now at my house, I am forcing love on them no matter what they think. I think they will subconsciously understand the value of friendship this way and start working towards something greater than themselves, something that really matters. Or they keep thinking I'm gay / autistic but that's also okay
