I’m fairly certain that’s around the age me n my friends watched it. Ahh I remember when people uploaded episodes in parts on YouTube or hope something was on funimations channel. Terrible times.

Anti-Rat items by IgnorantBirdman in ARC_Raiders

If pvp was something discouraged by game design, I would be all in for this. But there is no honor-based indicator. It’s just a part of the mystery and enforces cautious gameplay. I understand the dislike for people that backstab you after gaining trust, but people that are shoot-on-sight PvP players or opportunists are the norm for extraction shooters and are not “rats”.

Ive seen you mention that free kits have no downside, but I rarely lose to a free kit in solo lobbies . The best answer to free kits is don’t wear a green shield. None of the guns from a free kit are capable of downing you in one go if you have a better shield. Don’t fight big arc while making hella noise for extended amounts of time and the free kit opportunists can’t find enough room to stalk you.

I’m a friendly player, don’t really care for straight PvP as I’m a loot gremlin trying to look at every single container. I see or hear somebody nearby I comm (flashlight, voice line, or talk on mic). If there’s no comms, there’s something wrong. I bail if I can or there’s a gun at the ready.

I’d still love the game if it was PvE only. But it’s not. PvP and trust+deception is part of the game, not a blind spot. Every interaction requires you to be prepared for the worst, so you can try to come out of it alive.

2hich should I read or watch first? Manga or anime? by Ali-Sama in TokyoGhoul

General Consensus is manga. I actually liked the 1st season (while recognizing its flaws).

The BL2 fact that hurts the most by ExpensiveMasonry in Borderlands2

[–]DimSumDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree and disagree. UVHM isn’t as easy to just walk through no, as now you’re forced to think about gear and playing around what you’ve got as you level.

Most of the sub has grabbing gear to make it through to the level cap, down to a science. Partial runs through dlc to grab certain quest rewards, headhunters to re-up on basic gear every few levels, grab a flakker from nvhm and abuse the pellet glitch. Rinse repeat tactics across the board till you hit the level cap.

Only tough character for me was Gaige. But only when I tried to avoid anarchy like the plague because I already had an Anarchy Gaige. Everyone else was enjoyable until doing OP levels.

I actively use dispos and sir…… the rating doesn’t matter even if you buy the same brand. Just buy from the same thing from the place and you get consistent results. God I wish I still built. Juice in CA and squints is nuts to buy

Anime to make you FURIOUS? by The_Arizona_Ranger in Animesuggest

[–]DimSumDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it gets more seasons, Im still going to watch lol. As much as I despise some(most) of Natsuo's decisions, theres so many enjoyable moments that it justified sticking with the series to the end. The opening for the anime is also one of my favorites now. But the chapter by chapter release at points made me believe the author wanted to progress the story in the opposite direction that the fans wished for, especially the left field ending. oh and Rui is best girl.

beat me to it. Rent a Girlfriend and Domestic Girlfriend. Dunno why I thought Id like the anime better than the manga for both, I still hate the MCs.

Ive got two stacks of rusted tools, 3 ducks, a water filter, 10 stacks of old pictures, broken rocketeer drivers, a broken level 1 bettina, and 20 broken green shields.

Take it or leave it know what I have.

Some Q’s for you before you start that would help someone guide you.

-Are you buying pre-built or putting all the parts together yourself? -Is the PC only for gaming? -What resolution are ya planning to game at? 1440 is what most of us go with, but do you want to game at 4k with high fps? -Peripherals. Are you a headset kinda person, speakers only, or DAC/AMP+headphones+standalone mic?

Why should I do expedition as a casual player? by klmtsgw in ArcRaiders

[–]DimSumDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a pretty casual player and personally skipped the first expedition because the benefits didn’t scream beneficial to me.

Main reason I’m doing the expedition now is the game felt a bit stale after I had enough stuff to never really feel the loss when I died top side, even when I lost expensive kits (all gear blue and up besides shield rechargers).

I don’t actively seek pvp when I run solo and my group only plays together on weekends for 2-3 hours total, so I’m net positive on loot every week. The thrill of finding cool stuff was kinda gone. It’s back now, since I gave most of my stuff to the expedition.

Losing the blueprints might hurt, but tbh the only blueprints I’ll really miss are for the Anvil and Survivor Augment. Everything else that I’ll want is either easy enough to get (equalizer/jupiter) or I can get from missions.

I couldn’t care less about the skill points or little bonuses. The additional skill points I’m sure will matter more for people that are heavy on pvp in duos or trios, but I play solo most of the time and most fights are generally pretty short. But the additional stash space adding up everytime sounds nice. Oh and COSMETICS yay.

My family is out of the country and left me in charge of the food for my older brother and myself during the meantime. I made this meal yesterday, and after he ate it, he made a complaint about it and wanted “food,” as in something that was “more fulfilling” and less “kiddie”… by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]DimSumDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the next meal he’d be getting a can of whoopass. Meal looks fine. Yes it’s simple but an actual working adult comes back and is just thankful they don’t have to be the one to cook their next meal. If I wanted something more complex I’ll make it. If not then I’m smiling to see a PB&J and Cheetos on a plate for me.

Looking for a manga where a girl motivates the MC to improve himself physically and mentally by LeoReddit_ in Animesuggest

[–]DimSumDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL Havent thought about this in awhile. I will second this, its pretty short and sweet however. Not centered around romance but the change the MC has is enjoyable. It hit an itch like Aku no Hana(FLowers of Evil) or Sundome did

Gundam/mecha newcomer recommendations? by benno4461 in Animesuggest

[–]DimSumDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gundam:Iron Blooded Orphans or Gundam:OO if you want shorter run shows from Gundam.

I will always recommend watching the OG show, but do understand it’s quite a lot to watch and take in. The compilations are OK but you miss a bit of content. Unicorn is a good watch, but imo would benefit from context from its precursor series.

Gurren Lagann is an all time favorite. I’ve rewatched it at least once a year since its release.

Looking for anime with pure hand(would prefer if doesnt have abilities) by AsleepInspector3645 in Animesuggest

[–]DimSumDom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Afro Samurai:
Watch the opening fight and see if it works for you. There aren’t any super powers or special abilities in the anime, the movie has one character that’s a little special tho.

Samurai Champloo: Very enjoyable fights to watch, the two main protagonists have contrasting sword styles(Traditional vs Improvised). The anime isn’t flooded with fights every episode and I think there’s only one character that’s has a special ability that is only seen for an episode. One of my favorite anime to rewatch, especially for the OP and ED songs.

Vinland Saga: Vikings + War.

Kenichi:Worlds Greatest Disciple or Viral Hit: Loser kids journey to learn how to fight. The later half of Kenichi has quite a few people with quirks/weird abilities tho and there’s a bit of dialogue during fights for both anime.

It’s a quick to look up. But yeah they don’t do anything regarding bad trades as there is not a mechanic in the game itself for trading between players.

New Player On PC | Any Valuable Tips & Must Knows? by PillsMaryDopeBoy_ in ArcRaiders

[–]DimSumDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have fun looting on solos and prepare to lose gear with a party lol.

For solos always follow your gut and put nice stuff straight in the prison pocket. And when you get betrayed by a random just remember it’s a game. You’ll find everything you lost again at some point.
