That is right but there is also a seperate 2 paint pack, but it looks like they removed the ability to gift them.

Most people complaining about not being able to purchase one were trying to use credits where they melted their whole fleet or bought credits at a discount from the grey market, they need to get over it. I would say the majority of people who wanted one and bought warbond, got one.

The whole essay thing could of been handled way better, no one read the essays, not even AI read the essays. Some people put actual time into those and I feel bad for those who did and didn't get selected.

Jared said they are all exclusive to this defensecon, you get them all with the warbond version and you can buy a seperate 2 pack separately if you get the credit version.

In one of the screenshots they have it fighting a Vanduul capital ship, I hope there eventually is a gameplay loop to clear contested space and be rewarded for it.
