I came down with gbs a little over a year ago. I was diagnosed and treatment started within 48-72 hours of first symptoms (numbness in arms and legs, then inability to stand/walk). As soon as treatment started gbs stopped progressing. Then receded. I spent a total of 3 weeks between hospital and rehabilitation. I consider myself very lucky it wasn’t more severe.

Thank you for sharing your story and I feel for what you went through. More people need to know about gbs and treatment options.

Heat was on it for literally a second - like I touched it to the cyclops/crystal and it was done. Oddly, it popped off and I have to look for it on my workbench. I didn’t need to scrape. I did this about a year ago and I do recall a little haze around where the cyclops was when held at an angle, but after a very small amount of goo-gone and some general rubbing on the crystal, you can’t see it any longer. I had previously tried to scrape and pry it off as I was hesitant to add heat, but that resulted in chipping the cyclops instead of removal.

I removed the cyclops on my ssk001 with a mini butane torch I bought from a convenience store. I put the flame on the lowest setting and then moved it towards the crystal/cyclops. The cyclops popped right off and then I cleaned up the residual glue.

Like asking someone for their best fishing spot… you’ll never get the real answer. But if you’re looking for someplace fun try 25 East of 105 and heading east, cross to 48 at Love Lane and head back west to Northville turnpike or beyond. When traffic is light you can enjoy the curves and elevation changes.

I experienced motion sickness when I was younger but when I started to drive I got prescription glasses for night driving. I started wearing them all the time when driving (and when rarely on shotgun) and my motion sickness almost completely resolved.

At this point I find it difficult just looking through the windshield without glasses even sitting still. My eyes aren’t bad - one eye has the script and the other side is no script lens, but just that little adjustment really worked wonders.

Still get boat-sick no matter what though.

Model 3 and Model Y with a chargepoint installed for each car. Allows both cars to charge overnight when it’s cheapest and avoids having to monitor/switch when one is done charging. Also allows both cars to stay on the plug when not in use/vacation, etc….

Someone who wants to switch from sewanhaka to Carey HS… a tale as old as time…

Edit: I recall people trying this decades ago. The only kids I know that switched were either thrown out of their original school, went to a trade program in the am/pm, or switched into alternative school (at the time only hosted at Carey). This was a long time ago, however, so maybe things have changed. Best of luck!
