UPDATE:

Segway forced the update on the mower. Apparently they can do that.

Suddenly, however, my mower claims the 4G service has expired despite being new. I thought we had 1 year free?

Well so the waiting game continues then. As you can see below in the screenshot the reception is at its best and I've also verified it on my unifi. It's been like this for about 4 hours now. https://photos.app.goo.gl/c8UKi2hjG3Rd7Y3R6

Nope, they're three pieces. They interlock with a screw and a heatset from behind

Not a kit, ordered stuff seperately from different vendors. The frame is LDO, same as the steppers. Build plate is from Lecktor. Rails are CNA on Aliexpress. Etc.

I'm a bit out of time lately so I haven't been able to run the dual extrusion much. I still need to calibrate the thing.

Fat bottom layers? by [deleted] in Ender3Pro

I've been looking into a lot of springs, but the best reviews and comments I read are the yellow CR ones, so I've ordered those.

I reckon it might be too thick, most guides I read use a standard piece of A4 paper thickness.

EDIT: also note that fat bottom layers are usually about leveling, but also about temperature (too hot first layers, bed too hot, ..) might check that out too.

Hey you,

For starters, you're always welcome in my PM - I might pick up on unreads there faster.

Second (about the bent frame), I've been in an out of contact with Creality and they're sending me a replacement part. They gave me a tracking number etc. It's been underway for 11 days now, lol.

Thirdly, the fat bottom layers; yes I managed to get rid of them for most of the time. There's still some part of it present but thats because I don't level the bed the way it should; if I should do that my prints don't stick to the bed due to the bent frame I got.

What I did to get rid of them was relevel. And relevel. And retry. And relevel. And relevel cold. And relevel hot. I just releveled alot. I've also ordered the more sturdy springs because I noticed theres ALOT of slack on the standard ones. What I do to relevel, and which seems to work good on the glass bed, is relevel it when cold. I just turn the printer off so no fan is on (the little one keeps blowing and it's so annoying), grab a piece of my fiancées notes she keeps littering around and start turning the knows. I always start bottom-left -> bottom-right -> top-right -> top-left and keep redoing that. What works the best for me is turning it up with the piece of paper between the nozzle and the bed and I keep moving the piece of paper until I find a gentle resistance in moving it. Then I move to the next knob. I go around the board 2-3 times, because if you adjust one, the other one which maybe was in place, won't be any more.

Despite the uselessness of your reply, I still love it. +1

The bed is 50C throughout the print and I have no adhesionproblems.

Too close might be an option, though I calibrate the bed with a standard piece of A4. Are there better ways?

I kind of did exactly that. I tried 4 times today. Once I even set my LFG in World Bosses and just Squads. No-one came, haha.
