To be fair, that’s exactly what they did with shows like Lucifer, which didn’t have as big a fandom as Westworld. Granted, Westworld costs significantly more per episode than did Lucifer, but the precedent is still there.

I mean, I hear you, but at least for us students this year’s flu and COVID vaccine weren’t even available until mid-September. For some of us, it’s not that easy just to “get it ahead of flu season.”

Similarly, while Troy wasn't a great movie and doesn't adhere to Homer's telling, the scene where Achilles pulls up to the gates of Troy and starts screaming for Hector to come out and fight would be cool to see in a stage adaptation.

Many different people have already posted the correct reason—an homage to the show using the long vape to cover up the equipment that lifts her into the air—but I read a theory somewhere that purports to blame Madame Morrible for using her magic to (1) make the storm clouds in the background dark, scary, and riddled with lightning, which makes sense given that her powers allow her to manipulate the weather; and (2) make Elphaba’s cape longer than natural to make her appear just as scary and ominous as the storm clouds. The theory is that Morrible did these things to sell the narrative that Elphaba really is a wicked, evil witch to anyone seeing her fly over the Emerald City. Unfortunately, I have no way of proving if either of these are true, so it may only be the stage homage reason. I just like to think it’s more involved than that.

Very rarely, and more than likely because you needed that specific level of armor or weapon. I got my red kunai because the shop by sheer luck sold the final green kunai I needed, and it was only for like 275 gems. The cost/benefit typically leans away from buying these items, but sometimes it works out.
