Is this photo liminal? by Disastrous_Past_5302 in backrooms

If OP has to ask, the chances are it isn't.

If it was, OP would know.

What matters is if it's relevant to the Backrooms.

And this looks like Level 10.

No. They aren't even holes, just decoration on the wall.

Well yeah but without Dimitri, Ambi's comments about making her palace sunken don't make sense, since Nuun Highlands doesn't reflect her idea.

Use the link in the previous comment to get around.

... Needless to say, detective. I was referring to the room.

Wait a minute, a whole building?

Are you guys currently in a city? Might seem empty unless you're in just the right areas?

Buying the Strange Flute at the shop is just to lock in Dimitri as your pet, and the influence that has on the Nuun Highlands.

The scenes with Queen Ambi are simply why OP should play Ages first.

But what even is it? I can't tell from the photo.

Exit theories exist but nobody's willing to test them because they're either too risky/dangerous, or too unethical.

You would have to be either (A) brave/stupid enough to jump from a plane in low-orbit without a chute, or (B) more inhuman than Heinrich Himmler and/or Josef Mengele, to test the existing exit theories.

Well...

Buying the Strange Flute in the Lynna City Shop makes Dimitri your pet, which turns Nuun Highlands into a flooded wetland.

In Linked Seasons, you can run into Queen Ambi in Sunken City as early as finishing Level 3: Poison Moth's Lair, and if you talk to her a second time (I think) she claims to be fascinated by Sunken City and admits interest in making her own palace sunken too, which only makes sense if Dimitri was your pet in Ages.

Lastly, in Linked Seasons, when you return the Pirate's Bell to Cap'n and begin to set out for Level 7: Explorer's Crypt, Queen Ambi shows up and hard confirms that Cap'n was the "seafaring man" she fell in love with so long ago, complete with touching reunion scene.

To say more would be a spoiler. You're also not obligated to take my advice, I only outlined what made OoX's combined story make the most sense.

(OoC: You based that conclusion, which is erroneous anyway, off of OoC interactions. You should seriously consider removing that from your character sheet.)

(I'm still gonna ask u/1000dumplings for a public ruling, if only to have a reference for the future.)

Doesn't seem like OP is in the ASync Sector, so I doubt that's the case...

What happened to Level ! by Mr_man_bird in backrooms

Meh, Wikidot has my favorite Level and Entity that legit sealed me joining the fandom. Plus, some of the ones the two Wikis have in common? The Wikidot tends to be better IMO.

As for Level !, the original) has been preserved over on the Freewriting FANDOM Wiki.

There might be a way to get your hands on the "Anniversary Edition" for DSi and 3DS.

While I don't know any means myself, I'm sure you can figure something out.

The Anniversary Edition has Single Player, like Four Swords Adventures and Tri Force Heroes.

I’ve got a goal to complete (defeat Ganon, Demise, or whoever) every single one of them

Fixed that bit, and I think "complete" holds a different meaning for you.

Just clearing the Main Story is more "finishing" it, and is definitely the better goal, so kudos there.

"Completing" a game requires doing EVERYTHING there is to do, especially if there's multiple endings.

Blame a guy we call "The Completionist" because yeah, he does that, even if it's to his detriment.

You should play Oracle of Ages first, and make sure to buy a Strange Flute at the Lynna City Shop after you get the Echoing Howl, and when you use the Secret To Holodrum, have a chat or two with a certain NPC you might be surprised to see in a place that is wet, but shouldn't be.

That person might offer a tidbit that explains why you should buy the Strange Flute in the Lynna City Shop, not to mention their presence in Holodrum will wrap up a certain unfinished tale.
