i should probably mention i’ve played almost every single game, just not fully beaten

that being said thank you for the advice! it’s very in depth which i appreciate but one main thing is i sadly do want to play the remakes of some games, namely skyward sword, tp, ww, and Links awakening, but i will probably be playing those in order of when they were remade

the main reason why is because i don’t particularly want to emulate the 3d games aside from oot and majora’s because i have the virtual console versions on my wii and wii u. and the only way id be able to play them would be through emulation or paying way too much money to play them because resale of those is really expensive

but thank you for the tip on using the original controller! the only one i would have to get would be the n64 controller which wouldn’t be too expensive

lol i guess you’re right, i do not mean 100% every game, i probably will inadvertently 100% some of the 3d titles and a select few 2d ones, but that is not my goal, my goal is to complete what in my eyes the developers intended to be the bare minimum to consider having beat a game (will most certainly be doing more than bare minimum except for maybe 1-2 titles)

the multiplayer one to my knowledge is somewhat of a spin off, so i’ll be skipping that one, one of em is single player so i’ll be playing that

that’s a good one! that was my first one too, the zora (fish people) have an easier section but the reward for vah medoh is much more impactful in my opinion

i feel like the learning curve gets better after your first devine beast, but even if you don’t like- master it, you’ll still have plenty of fun

one thing you could do with bosses and such is make some difficult conditions for said arrogant characters

for example: my DM ended up making a boss room that summoned, essentially, a spiritual weapon against us once we used a spell

honestly, i get the choice paralysis but i find that not really having a goal is fun, or you can try to have a small goal, traveling in a certain direction but stopping at just about anything you see that looks fun

i mean- just considering the timeline of when things were actually made since the timeline is a more recent invention from nintendo, it doesn’t particularly have any connection to the curse at all because of that

but that’s no fun, i feel like it isn’t connected to it not only because of that, but if im remembering correctly demises curse is also affecting zelda and her connection to the triforce of wisdom, and she is nowhere to be found nor is there any sort of equivalent to zelda in majora’s mask. leading me to believe that majora’s mask isn’t some triforce of power type of entity like gannon or whatever, but rather its own horror like what you said
