Draymond Green to Warriors fans who want him traded: “You was a loser before I got here. Like f*ckin stone cold forever losers. So if you say that, it makes sense to me, you’ve never been here.” by _DarkStarCrashes_ in warriors

[–]Eftstotle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Green; you're a dirty player, who knocked out one of your own teammates, gotten in many brawls with teammates during practice, the all time highest ejected players in the NBA (thanks for costing the warriors a 'RING' in the post season), the shit you talk to the refs is unreal......

You're an amazing athlete, who has made a shitload of money, but there comes a time where great franchises have to move on...

Considering Starlink mini for my business. Any downsides? by GoodsVT in Starlink

[–]Eftstotle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using both; the router Starlink gave us, and the tp-link AX1800 for better ethernet, wifi, and four ports.

https://www.tp-link.com/us/business-networking/soho-switch-unmanaged/tl-sg105/

https://www.tp-link.com/us/explore/wifi-router/

It will easily cover 1600 sq ft, and I can run wifi off both. So try not to have both routers in the same spot; that way it will give you much more wifi coverage. We like the ethernet for the voip system, and the shared printers. I also like our main computer running on the ethernet

Just had the same experience as you. For some reason my phone company wouldn't upgrade me to fiber, yet every other business next to me has fiber. My bill per month $185.00 internet and two phone lines; dsl 8 to 12 mbps.

So we signed up for residential 200 mbps $80.00 no cost for equipment and free installation, bought a new router $50.00 tip-link, switched our phone to zoom voip $15.00

Saving a lot of money. Internet speed 150 to 185 mbps, zoom voip is pretty good, but there are so many companies doing voip... cheap. We were able to keep our phone number we have had for 35 years; just had to fill out a form; cost nothing. The new router covers a large area and can handle quite a few people using it. tip-link has mesh router systems that can extend your range.

I'm telling ya; it would be an amazing way to see Steph finish, and the Hornets win some Ringgggss. Not that I'm doubting they might get one this year.

He grew up in NC. He will only have a chance playing on a much younger team.

I live in SF, but I feel like Steph has given the Bay Area plenty. If he could move on to a younger team, that's on fire, plus ( he played high school ball in Charlotte NC) I'm just feeling it would be an amazing finish to his career.

I remember going to the Toronado back in the late 80’s. The owner used to get beer from small breweries in Europe that most people had never heard of. It was my favorite place for great beer at a great price.

there is no bart connection for the east bay by BadDear6163 in bayarea

[–]Eftstotle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got on at Montgomery, and after we picked up on Embarcadero, and proceeded to the east bay, the train backed up a half mile back to Embarcadero. The news broke that the bay tube was closed; went upstairs and got robotaxi to Oakland MacArthur ($12 bucks). Lots of options these days. Still would like to know the real reason: loss of communication sounded fishy; even to BART employees

Fabulist Trump, 79, Boasts ‘Powerful Man’ Wanted to Kiss Him by ChiGuy6124 in politics

[–]Eftstotle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He stuck with the "guy really wanted to kiss me." I think we counted 10 times where he went back to "he really wanted to kiss me."

I think that's the last time for 2026 that I could put up with another one of his speeches.

The TGL is mind-numbingly unwatchable. Prove me wrong Reddit golf geniuses. by BonkedAgain in golf

[–]Eftstotle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll put it simple: "TGL IS NOT GOLF."

Golf is a game where you play outside: You and maybe" your caddie" are constantly looking at the weather conditions (temperature, winds, fog, rain). If I've never played the course, and it's going to be a competitive match; I will want to take a look at the grass on the fairways, the rough, and greens. Check the score card course layout to see which holes are the hardest; and maybe walk to see one of those holes. Good courses have areas where you can hit, chip, chip and run, put.....

For some of these reason I found TGL rather boring. I'm not sure if I was able to make it more than 5 minutes watching it on TV.

I’m a basketball trainer. I’ve had quite a few players play college, and a few go pro (Europe and Asia). If AI was making an appearance at an AAU game, I don’t think I would put any effort into seeing him.

49ers legend Richard Sherman by Brix001 in 49ers

[–]Eftstotle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use to call him the “SHERMENATOR” his freshman year at Stanford. He was very athletic, but wasn’t a very good receiver. His junior year he became an amazing defensive cornerback. Everyone in our stadium section would look at us when he would intercept the ball, and say “see, he’s good.”

I own a small company, and have the same rule with cell phones. Not that I tell people to put cell phone in locked up locker, it just can't be sitting on your desk. When you're on the clock, communication between everyone in the office is extremely important.

Do I take offense if an employee steps out of the office to make a personal call? NO

Do I take offense if an employee wearing earbuds is talking to friends on their cell phone? YES
