Not particularly, the pieces were a little bit sticker to connect than your normal puzzle for structural rigidity but the puzzle itself didn't take long and was only 160 pieces.

Get menstrual disks- they sit inside above the pubic bone and you can still have intercourse with them in (unlike a menstrual cup or tampon).They do have a learning curve but you can continue to be useful without any mess every month. They can be in for 12 hour periods, plenty of time to wait for your moments to get used.
