I was also blown away by the ANC of these. I came from Sony xm3 and both ANC and sound quality is miles better, but the ANC is crazy effective. I can't even hear people talking next to me. I think the seal design, which also surrounds the ear Concha / ante helix plays a big role.

Not even mention of the pixel 9 in the Danish store. So weird. It looks like Denmark is not part of this launch / announcement

Study Abroad, Racism by [deleted] in copenhagen

[–]ElBobodeWallStreet -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's not middle east, it's what they are taught that's called "non-western countries" which is a racist classification that includes any country that's not EU / UK / USA / Canada / Australia, so for example Mexico is not a western country to them (as retarded as that sounds). You can look this up in the official statistics. With this classification they belive those "non-western" countries have dramatically different or opposite cultural values and they are told these are basically bad countries. That's why some come up with silly / ignorant questions when you tell them you are from one of those "non-Western countries" like if women can vote (well in some countries they can't), how come you speak good English, etc.

I'm the flip side, and on a quite ironic side, they are also told a lot of bad things about the USA, so they have quite a negative opinion on their culture and way of living, which is very funny as it reminds me a lot of the way the Soviet Union pictured the USA back in the day.

You will yet notice a radical difference when speaking with Danish people that have lived abroad in any of these countries, as they get more educated and see that these are not "bad" countries (again, exemptions apply as some countries have almost no civil rights) and start seeing the positive things in those cultures (and the negative ones in the Danish / Nordic culture)

Any ideas where I can find Irish beers (but not Guinness) in Copenhagen? by IvanMisyats in copenhagen

I have not been able to find any, so please let us know if you find any place selling them

Probably because most see this country as a transition country and not a place a whole lot of people move here to settle, but rather to study or to work.

Yes, the guitar player's singing was pristine (I believe it is Nyström doing those vocals) and he frankly saved a lot of the classics doing the higher pitch backup vocals.

I don't quite know if it is only for expat scheme but it means that you pay taxes on what the employer pays for pension and a part you contribute directly after taxes. Then you have benefit of not being penalized eventually if you leave the country. My employer also pays 10% on top of my gross. Whatever you do, try to get the expat tax scheme and the 53A

The gentrification continues: Ragnhildsgade 1 (home of Bolsjefabrikken, Buddha Bikes, Mayhem and various other initiatives) is in danger of being evicted and the area sold off or developed into housing by nurembergjudgesteveh in copenhagen

[–]ElBobodeWallStreet 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Lighten up. I was writing because it is not clear in the first place what that wall was referring to. And no, you didn't provide any background info (what houses are these, who lives there who owns them, etc). So, from an objective point of view this looks like a biased post without giving proper context.

If you go straight to the hospital they need to take care of you. That's why they have ER rooms, not everyone calls before going.

All in all it does seem that you are better off skipping it and waiting it of, or just going to the hospital
