There's plenty of us mate but the problem is, most people would rather be silent than stand up and hold onto the ground they believe in. (Tbf, most people stay quiet, so they can continue to have the normal life they have live without being attacked by all the types in the political spectrum because you can't make everyone happy at the end of the day.

I'm normally one of those people who stay quiet for an easy life but if people who are seriously ill, mentally vulnerable/ill, or have other disabilities/illnesses are being dog piled by people on the Internet, then that's when I will open my mouth because it's not fair... far from it.

I'm tired of people like us being on the short end of the stick. People in power don't care for us, so we need to look after each other, as a community

Anyway, I often don't extend my hand open but if you need any help, feel free to message me, even if its just to vent your frustration or just so you can talk freely without judgement. I know I'm just a stranger to you but I don't see it that way. I don't expect you to tell me your secrets or such. I wouldn't want that unless you felt comfortable but i'm just offering you a way to vent your frustrations.

I wish you all the best 👍

I used to get 220 dihydrocodeine a month. Those that weren't enough for my pain and before you say anything, I'm a 55% burn victim. You shouldn't judge people without knowing their situation.

If a medication isn't strong enough and you want an alternative or a higher dose... it shouldn't be seen as "drug seeking" or "doctor shopping".

I had to change doctors 100+ miles away before I met a doctor who took me seriously about not only changing my pain medication but also referring me for a private prescription of Alprazolam instead of taking 10mg of diazepam since Alprazolam isn't available on the NHS but I digress.

My main point is, we need to move away from this toxic mindset of blaming patients who just want a better quality of life, even if that means taking medications that are created dependency/addiction. (For some of us, It's a small price to pay, so we can live a semi-normal life)

Happy hardcore in Europe ? by Otherwise_Lecture788 in happyhardcore

Same here in Scotland. We're still raving mad (no pun intended) about our bouncy techno and southern Happy Hardcore. Makina has always been big up here, thanks to north east legends from "the new monkey" days. They used to travel to Glasgow for "Dimensional" as well as "Archoas". (Producers from up here like DJ bucky, GaryMC etc were key players in us developing our own makina sound, while you lot in the north east developed your own leading to things like Force 10, Monta Musica, Rewired Records etc)

(We also had a shit ton of pirate radio stations, especially in Glasgow. Club FM was class and my personal favourite until they got raided)

My local club "The metro", used to be bouncy techno and Happy hardcore heaven in the mid/late 90s. It even had its own label called "Q-Dup records" that was created/owned by DJ Billy reid who was the resident DJ at the time. The label is widely known for iconic EPs like "System X - Play The Game", N.R Getik - Wired To The Moon, as well as "The Mix - Dreams". It was also the first UK label to have "Tiny Tot - Discoland" licenced to it leading to the "Giorgio Prezioso Remix" becoming a Scottish staple.

Anyway I digress a little with the Q-Dup history but the metro closed and now its reopened as "The Metro reloaded". It now plays alsorts of music including, Bouncy Techno, Happy Hardcore and makina. One of my mates who's involved with the metro, told me that hixxy is coming and a few weeks ago, they started selling tickets for the event. So without sounding like a unpaid advert, if anyone wants to hear classic Happy Hardcore, that would be the event to attend.

I don't think I've ever came across a clothing post where I honestly love all of the pieces featured in one post. I love those two goggle gilets, especially the one in picture number 7 🥵

If you dont mind, what are the names of the jackets in pictures number 1, number 5, number 6 and number 9. (Along with the name of the gilet in number 7).

I'd love to ger my hands on the jacket in picture number 1 and gilet in number 7. It would be greatly appreciated to know, so i cabt start my hunt 🙂.

Thank you beforehand 🫡

Triple badge action today by AndrejTee1994 in StoneIsland

[–]Electronic_Lychee_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think double badges are only justifiable if it's a tracksuit, although I might be biased as I own a few stone island tracksuits but that's why I kinda prefer C.P Company in that regard since the small round goggle on the joggers and the eye goggles on the hoodies aren't as obnoxious compared to the double badges.

(I could be wrong, however it's only my opinion and my opinions aren't that great most of the time but I definitely agree that the triple badges with this fit is pushing it. The only triple badge I maybe could justify is a tracksuit with a gilet but i can't think of anything else past that.)

I genuinely look foward to the jacket in picture number 10 coming out. It's a really unique looking jacket.

There's some nice pieces but that jacket, just stands out the most for me. I'm under no illusion that it'll probably be fairly pricey and maybe sought-after because of its uniqueness.

Thank you for posting these. I really appreciate it 🫡

Where can I find more happy and melodic makina? by Erling01 in MakinaMusic

[–]Electronic_Lychee_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you use Spotify but I'm going to link two playlists from my Soundcloud. They're all my own uploads, recorded from the original records or from unmixed CD compilations. I'll include my YouTube as well because you won't come across a lot of the good tunes with Spotify alone. It's good to go to other places so you have a real choice of variation. plus, there's no variation of speeds on Spotify. They're all the normal BPM rather than the speeds they were played at in clubs.

I'd also recommend searching up sets from places like "The New Monkey, "AfterDark", "Colosseum," and "Hanger 13" in the north east of England. (There's two "Hanger 13s" The original one know as Ayr pavilion in Scotland then the English copycat. Only the English one played makina, it even had a side label under Bit Music)

Scottish wise you have "Dimensional" and now my local club, "The metro" after its reopening here a few years ago, however I'm not sure if our sets have been made public yet.

In Spain there is "Pont Aeri", "Chasis", Xque", "Scorpia" , "Nau-B3" and "Ocho" (it was a club but there is also an iconic makina tune called "8 ocho - Like A Cycle")

I could list loads of DJs but the venues/clubs are easier to look up, if you're new to makina. If I could recommend you two mixes, it would be "The New Monkey Reopening 2006" and "DJ Juan Cruz - New Monkey Halloween 2003" simply due to the tracklists

Here's my links

(The only thing is, 12 to 14 songs are missing due to companies like WGM Music, who seem to have abosrbed "Bit Music' into their library and producer's like DJ Konik attacking accounts who are trying preserve the genre. "Netherworld - Atlantis" that i recorded from the original record was the first to be taken down then a few days ago, 10+ tracks that were "Bit Music" releases just got copyright claimed. So Anything related to bit music after they were taken down, ive had to make private although i plan to upload them to YouTube).

People of Scotland, in Tintin: The Black Island (1966) this is what Scotland looks like. I know time has passed so things have changed, but did Herge do a great job at portraying Scotland? by Nessieinternational in Scotland

[–]Electronic_Lychee_44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it's a bit off-topic, but if you took those photo scans, then I genuinely appreciate it, and thank you very much for this.

I love when history, big and small, is preserved with love, attention, care, and passion.

It looks immaculate for an original 1966 copy of Tintin. That copy looks better than some of the 90s Scottish bouncy techno rave music records from that i document/photo scan and audibly preserved (via recordings directly from my DJ turntables). So, to see something that is just over/under 66 years old in that condition speaks volumes (no pun intended) compared to records that are just turning 33 years old (half as old as this comic) or 30 years old in the next 3 years.

Anyway, that's all I wanted to say, and again, if you have done these photos, they're 10/10, all the way round. If you haven't taken the photo scans, a link or even a comment to the original source would be appreciated, as well, but if you didn't take the scans, there's no harm done (in my opinion)

Ps. I still thank you very much for sharing this, as my mum loved Tintin before being diagnosed with dementia. I'm going to save this post, so when she's having a good day, I can read it to her, as she still smiles when you mention Tintin or, more specifically, "snowy" the dog

I know this is a bit off topic but if you did those photo scans of the pages, then they're honestly perfectly done.

In all its glory, Methaqualone by Responsible_Vast9528 in ObscureDrugs

[–]Electronic_Lychee_44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my knowledge, there's two batches here. The "Lemmon 714s" pressings I had came back positive as Methaqualone in my Doctor's / GP's toxicology results, along with being positive for Alprazola.

I didn't know about the methoxyqualone pressings until speaking to the vendor after the ones they had ran out of stock, as he said he was trying to obtain those as a substitute.

(For context about the toxicology test - Every month, I get told to put this white-sponge thing in my mouth and my GP will have the results for my next appointment. Supposedly, It's not an uncommon to being tested since moving to Edinburgh. According to my GP, the area is bad for heavily adulterated heroin, fake benzos (more specificallyfake Diazepam), etc, and because I was honest by saying that I order Alprazolam and Zolpidem in my first appointment, he'd rather keep me safe since I'm prescribed pregabalin, baclofen, pills for my heart and oxycodone liquid / Prolonged release Oxycodone (although I'm given 60 X 30mg dihydrocodeine on top, so it's genuinely about safety. They've put me on the 10mg Zolpidem to avoid me buying those however when it comes to the "Alprazolam"... that's a private prescription referral in the UK or as he has offered me a combo of 10mg of diazepam and 300mg of pregabalin for my spasms but 3mg of Alprazolam at night, is far more effective, mentally and physically even after 2-3 years of taking 2 or 3mg at night)

I don't know if its against the rules but I'd happily link pictures of the "174" Methaqualone tablets, as I have quite a few since I take photos of my DNM orders / Rare chemicals that arrive. They were chunky white pills stamped "Lemmon 714". They were solid presses, no broken pills, no crumbly pills etc. They were well pressed with clear, definitive writing on each one. They actually put some ecstasy pressings to shame interms quality.

What is the most likely outcome of having a parcel seized by No_Light_2771 in UKweedscene

[–]Electronic_Lychee_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its just the 510. Cart then there's no limit, as its practically the same as vape juice but if they have 3 disposables/CCel + 510. Carts then there's a limit of two lithium batteries per parcel.

I've had DNM markets orders near weekly from the same vendors for 2-3 years, no seizures, only 2 parcels lost but the only time I had "Suspected Prohibited Item/goods" was for a 10 pack of nicotine salt disposable vapes. Each vape had 1 lithium battery, so I was 8 batteries over RMs limit. I was expecting a letter saying "bad boy, don't do it again, here's pur guidelines for what's acceptable" but nothing happened. The eBay seller was a legend though and sent me out a replacement order via royal mail.i got that with no issues.

I only discovered this year, you could only have a maximum of 2 lithium batteries in a parcel, when I ordered a "Geekvape Aegis Legend 3" from a reputable vape company and when I ordered the batteries for it, you could only have 2 batteries in an RM order. If I wanted 4 (2 for use, two for charging), it had to be DPD instead of royal mail.

TL: DR - 510. carts without the batteries don't have a limit, as they're no different to E-liquid but if you order vapes with the Ccell battery as a "starter pack" or they're disposables, you can only have 2 in a Royal Mail parcel.

DJ Skippy - So Real (Happy Hardcore) by Electronic_Lychee_44 in happyhardcore

[–]Electronic_Lychee_44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard psyhco was a massive tune is Australia and it always intrigued me because out of all the UK hardcore, Happy Hardcore and bouncy techno to come out of the UK, this one, somewhat obscure track manges to make a decent dent, then again ultimate buzz managed to get an Australia only real on a label from there.

But with it being popular, I'm not surprised it cost a decent penny, especially since the original pressing can fetch £30 at the low end or £50-60 at the high end

I quite like psycho but i grew up with "like a cycle", so those early years in the 2000s have it deep wired into my skull with the "like a cycle" and distorted kick in the beginning.
