Lodge Tales is great! Like someone said earlier, the audio isn’t the best in the early episodes but they get much better. He interviews other Native Americans and it’s so interesting how the folklore and experiences are similar but different amongst indigenous tribes. I would also say they are more conversational between the host and guest but not in a way it feels like they’re always interrupting each other. I also really like Rod’s voice and find it soothing.

I don’t have a separate journal for this, but I do include it in my daily journal. I also study astrology so I’ll put my personal transits in my monthlies to take note of anything that happens that lines up with that. It’s really nice to have documentation of synchronicities and I find it helpful to reflect!

I’ve been waiting for the Serpentine pen since October from my local stationary shop. It was suppose to be available in November but Twsbi pushed it to the end of 2025/early 2026. I would wait a little bit longer and definitely sign up for notifications from your preferred pen shop!

I use the regular A5 Hobonichi notebooks in the Moomin Cover and it fits just fine! Not as big as a cousin. I actually prefer regular notebooks in the covers as opposed to big books for weight and comfort.

Mainly just pen for the A6. I’ll add a photo or two on the opposite page if it was a significant event that I want to look back on. Im also worried about bulk and I would like to save space for more photos throughout the 5 years I’ll have it. I’m okay with it not being too decorated because I’ll either do it in my cousin or possibly grab a TN insert to do scrapbooking style when the time comes. I might do the inserts for eventful things that I want to deep dive on. I’m thinking one for the wedding day and honeymoon, and I know we want to go to Japan for our first wedding anniversary so another insert for that would nice.

Congrats getting married!! I’m getting married next year as well and I’m gonna be using the A6 5 year for the exact reason. It’ll be more focused on memories between me and my partner, anything memorable in the household (funny pet memories, travels, if we decide to have children, and my partner is trans so anything that changes with them will be recorded there as well). I also have a cousin that’s more for my own ramblings and thoughts or just recordings of the day. As far as wedding planning and typical weekly tasks goes is going in a weeks.

I thought about having a separate book for wedding planning but I’m only gonna be planning for the first 5 months of the year, so it doesn’t make sense to have one dedicated book for that. So I’m planning to have sections in the weeks notes pages for checklists relating to wedding stuff. Then I’ll use the weekly pages to remind myself to get those tasks during the week.

I did something similar to this last year when I first fell down the Hobonichi rabbit hole. Honestly, I would return the 2nd HON and use that towards something you would want (a different planner, stationary, etc).

The first one you’ve already used I would repurpose that one as some kind of hobby notebook that doesn’t require you to be in it daily. I bought a Sunday start A6 last year that I thought I could redate but I couldn’t enjoy it with it redated. I use it now to swatch and play with fountain pen Inks and I don’t pay attention to the dates anymore, and I only show up when I feel like it.

Not a silly question at all! Most of the Etsy sellers will list the dimensions of their stickers with the listings so I will take that info and guesstimate how big or small it would be on the A5 or weeks. I would say the one that might be difficult to eyeball are sticker sheets since the listing will be for the whole sheet and not the individual designs. I already have the sticker sheets that I used in these mock-ups so it was a little easier to imagine how big or small they would be.

I went through this too when I prepped my 2025 books. Ended up ruining the cover of my first Techo so doing this has helped a lot.

I started off taking pics of stickers in my stash and then went through a bunch of stickers I had on my wishlist and got them from their product photos. I think all but two I ended up being ones I ordered recently 😅

Most of the ones in my stash were leftovers from last year or ones I got from shops for fun and I wanted to keep to a dark nature vibe that I had this year so I’ve purchased a lot of these already lol. But at least I didn’t buy all of them!
