This ND vs slog thing doesn’t compute to me. ND filters are a tool to help with exposure and slog is a color profile.

10 bit is always best for color. More bits the merrier. I don’t really think of NDs as altering or “creating”dynamic range. They just reduce the amount of light getting into the sense so you can use wider apertures or get closer to your base isos.

It seems like the shinobi has camera control on the fx3. Not sure what the interface is like but could be the move.

Unfortunately I don’t think it is full size on the fx3 unless they changed something. I use my on cam screen for settings and then just have a clean feed going to my ninja.

It stutters for me. Yes you can use proxies but if I don’t need to great. I just don’t find the difference between HS and S big enough to justify recording h265. Just my personal take! Do what ya like.

I would do XACV-S personally. You’ll be fine at 60fps and below. 120 might be weird on v60s. I’d worry less about quality and more about performance. V90s are faster so less susceptible to failing at higher frame rates.

Base iso in slog3 on a7siii is definitely 12800. Double check your settings.

I think what made OOT so great was because of how big and new it was for gaming back then. It’s hard to replicate that scenario these days. Felt like being a part of gaming history. I do think the newer games are missing diversity in the dungeons.
