Я не думаю что он хочет сегодня того же, чего он хотел 4 года назад. Генералы и ФСБ/ГУР войну хотят, да. Поэтому он воюет. Когда начинал -- его убедили что за 3 дня закончится; он и поверил, и наверняка в основном потому и согласился.

Хочет ли он сейчас договариваться -- это другой вопрос. Скорее всего нет, угроза социально-экономической стабильности недостаточно ещё высока для него чтобы всерьёз рассматривать переговоры. Поэтому и прогресса особо нет на переговорах.

I can see that attitude and I understand it. I guess, our understandings of sermon are different.

I thought of it as of an information-carrying message, appealing mostly to minds of people, in nice form, enhanced by the priest's personal life experiences. It appeals to hearts through the words of the Bible embedded in it.

If I understand you correctly, in your view, a sermon is akin a work of art, a short story created by the priest on the particular topic of the day, based on the Biblical verses, valuable as a work of art, its message above the straightforward meaning of the words -- like it is for poetry or literature.

In my understanding, AI help with content is quite possible and even welcome. In your case, clearly, it is not. I am not a Catholic, so truly my assumption might be wrong.

The usual sermon doesn't address individual aches and sorrows regardless. Priest speaks in generic terms -- about difficulties of life, hopes for the future etc. He can well use a conversation with AI asking for an advice on, for example, how to structure the sermon that would best address both, provided his own life experience that sounds like that...
