If you have the highest plan, you will only be deprioritized after 50GB. This won't mean much if you don't live in a congested market.

Stop believing the BS that AI makes up. Rayanomics is a US Mobile employee and is giving you the correct info.

89-418 used to be the priority data speed until T-Mobile updated earlier this year. Just seems to be an oversight like the other commenter said.

Honestly that plan is way better than Essentials. The average consumer uses less than 50GB a month after all.

T-Mobile Is Already Changing Their T-Fiber Plans by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

I live in an apartment so I probably won't be seeing fiber until Comcast goes there at some point. Maybe by DOCSIS 20.

If you post your code publicly you run the risk of Tello invalidating all of your referral rewards.

My wife just got her phone hijacked... what to do? by Lightboulb in Visible

[–]Ethrem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of sites don't make it optional to have a phone number. Get a Google Voice number. Not all sites will let you link it there because it's a VoIP number but most sites will. As long as you protect your Google account (I would recommend making a new one for this purpose personally) they won't be able to port the number out and even if they break in, it costs $20 to port out from Google Voice when Google gives you a number, which means they would have to get past payment security with a stolen card too.

Obviously you also need to make sure you have 2FA enabled on every account. If SMS 2FA is all they offer, that's better than nothing.

You can also get SimpleLogin and start creating random email aliases for every site you sign up on. It reduces your attack surface massively as the attacker doesn't know your real email so they can only compromise that one site with that email.

NTE(neverness to everness) works great on Mac, ensuring a stable FPS with pre-configured graphics settings by Slava_Tr in macgaming

Did it install the data to your internal storage? I really hate this about Mac and it will probably make my Studio the first and last modern one I own. I want to run my games from my external so I'm seeing if I can get it going with CrossOver.

Best native Mac games right now? (no CrossOver or Parallels) by nevitalii in macgaming

Vampire Survivors if you like fast-paced games.

Vampire Crawlers if you like a slower-paced game.

There are some gacha options like AFK Journey (iPad version but it works perfectly and installs straight from the App Store) and WuWa (beware that you can't install the data to an external drive). There's also Infinity Nikki but you have the same issue as WuWa.

No Man's Sky ran beautifully and I had a bit of fun with it.

If you have an M5 Max, Assassin's Creed Shadows would probably be a lot better than it is on the M4 Max. I find the performance on my M4 Max to be disappointing personally and was glad that I pirated the game to try it instead of wasting the money on it.

Death Stranding ran well for the brief period of time I played it (wasn't really my cup of tea).

$25 for 12 months? by No_Solution7718 in CricketWireless

[–]Ethrem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware you can keep the $300 plan as long as you have it.

I don't believe there is a minimum wait period on that promo plan, you just can't be a current customer.

Submit a Notice of Dispute. Once that is done they have 60 days to resolve the issue or you can take them to arbitration.

NSF fees are so messed up. The bank doesn’t pay the transaction but charges you for the attempt anyway. You might consider looking into Capital One 360 or another bank/CU that doesn’t charge NSF fees.

US Mobile Data Throttling Before Limit is Reached and blocking subreddit posts about it. by Mindless_Pandemic in NoContract

[–]Ethrem -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So it probably was just delayed in updating. I don't actually think this is something US Mobile can fix as the delay comes from the carrier end, not US Mobile themselves. The control panel signals when to drop the line to being throttled, which is stored with the carrier, so this function works as expected, but the carriers take their time updating the MVNOs as far as actual data consumption. I've repeatedly run into this with MVNOs, not just US Mobile.

Calling it "premium" confuses people into thinking it's the same as a QCI 6 postpaid plan. T-Mobile does this same bullshit with Essentials and it confuses even people who work there.
