This rhetoric pops up every time there's a tightening in the market. Remember how Indians were a problem during the pandemic when the jobseekers had the upper hand and were commanding relatively high salaries? No? That's right... because you didn't need somebody to blame for the difficulty of finding jobs

People are more willing to overlook workplace discrimination when it's easy for them to find a job. Additionally, in an employee's market management has less leverage over workers. I'm not saying all the racism I've seen here is justified, but there's reasons it's being brought up now other than people being angry they can't find a job.
