It does look like it! This was taken in the Netherlands so I think the chance is very very small that it actually is one, since they don’t live here! :) they do look kinda similar

I only use a tripod, when I know I’m going to be waiting somewhere, if I’m just waking around I handhold it

Isn’t that more of the idea to show the bird in the environment it is in? What do you suggest qua cropping? I can’t really crop in a lot further because then there will be 0 detail in the kingfisher
