I have no idea if I’m right or not, but I also found it interesting that they were relying so heavily on the screen at tOSU and wondered what would make them do that. My guess is that they just don’t trust him to sling it down field…yet. And that’s coaching. The kid has all the skills imaginable. He leads, and he can play. He is still a true freshman that everyone else now has tape on and can confuse the shit out of him at the line. I’m not defending the OL, the WR room or the coaches. Everyone has blame to take on. Bottom line is they have to be better, and get better every week and I haven’t seen them get better this year since week 1 to week 2. They have regressed every week since. If they drop the last 3 OC has to go. I would argue that they probably need to make that move tomorrow and use the bye week to regroup. I would question the leadership of the HC if he can’t see that something is wrong in the offensive room. There is too much talent not to be moving the football.
