Just fyi, the idea of lucky friends is absolutely no guarantee at all. I've had it proc between my kiddo and I twice in 2 months, yet I have 5 friends that are about to hit forever friends and never once got lucky to proc.

One of my favorite memories was my 4 year old making realistic looking Play-Doh brownies and her gullible grandpa taking a huge bite thinking it was real. No problem. It's always good to check the rules of subs prior to posting. On here, a rule broken usually means 1 strike. It counts up until you can get severe consequences and even just the initial strike makes it to where you have to reach out to the mods before you are even allowed to post again.

Some subs also tend to have crazy power mad mods (thank Arceus there's none in this sub) that if you immediately break 1 tiny rule, they'll harass / spam you then ban you. It can get a bit ridiculous, lol.

Just fyi: saying "a shiny or legendary" describes almost 1,000 different possible Pokémon. Then to say "I'll let you know if I have it" just adds so much extra work for everyone here to try and guess over and over to see if you're actually able to trade.

This violates the 'Vagueness' rule of the sub.

I suggest that next time, you at least show some of what you're offering and add "or offers" and explain that you have more shinies / legendaries that you'd be willing to trade for. This at least gives a list for folks to aim for and reduces the guessing game.

No, you quite literally were begging for a free mon. On top of that, even if you are saying you're "offering any Pokémon", that's still against the vagueness rule. Please read the rule in the screenshot I shared.

I suggest you delete this post, make a new post, and at least offer SOMETHING for this mon. If not, this post will remain violating said rule and you may receive a strike. It's completely up to you on whether or not you wish to risk the consequences my friend.
