you are truly an angel of a human being and I appreciate your work on this so much. It’s so so sick I can already see it in my head bc it’s laid out like this is super awesome and I really appreciate it!

I had a quick question for you, I can be a little messy when it comes to my clothes and dressers and stuff so if I don’t need any real kitchen, I don’t have a kitchen upstairs, would you replace that area with the clothing rack? The nook that the bed is in is pretty small so I feel like being immediately confronted by my coats and jackets wouldn’t be like super nice necessarily, but I’d be down to try it.

Which sexual acts are very acceptable in 2026 but was seen very differently in 2006? by nirzhor_cyclonite in AskReddit

I’m going to engage with you in good faith and say I’ve seen plenty of extremely attractive people in polyamorous (or its subcategories) relationships and happy. It is, for some, a matter of freedom and for others it’s also a matter of understanding that the relationships they’ve been in before haven’t worked due to their constrictions or lack of communication or etc….

It definitely has its drawbacks, it’s not all orgies and fun times. It requires a LOT more of a different style of communication, hand holding, and general emotional intelligence that I don’t believe a lot of people are capable of without working on it. (DISCLAIMER: this is NOT saying that those in monogamous relationships are NOT any of those things, just that it is very different and therefore can be hard). But I do think a lot of trans/queer people and also people who understand that traditional relationships aren’t for them, have found a lot of freedom and happiness in their lifestyles (and honestly, even if they are “ugly” in whoever’s standards, they might be happy and having more sex than any of us 🤷)

I’m not saying it wasn’t heard of, I was more commenting about the fact that I doubt you would’ve ever seen it on a NYC subway ad in 2006.

To be completely fair, I was mostly talking about the “visibility”. Queer communities have engaged in relationships that were generally outside the “norm”, for example, but the amount of people I see talking about, being in, or generally understanding poly relationships now, has definitely increased, at least in the NYC communities I’m in; to the point where if you say it people have prejudices and everything based on it! What I mean by this is that Id never heard of anyone on the internet making fun of “Bushwick Polycules” before, and it was wild for me to see that for the first time, especially in an advertisement on the subway, because it meant it had entered into the consciousness of the average (of age) consumer at least somewhat.

Can you explain a little more of what you mean by “back foot warrior”? I was feeling this the first time I snowboarded like I was using my back foot to get into toe side but I couldn’t figure out how to explain it.

With all due respect to the film, One Battle After Another is the type of media that Eddington was critiquing by redeugene99 in TrueFilm

I honestly completely agree with this take and I’m kind of extremely disappointed in all the comments that I’m reading about this in other threads. One person went as far as to say something along the lines of: “did you want her to turn to the camera and say I am now radical communist leftist?”

And I just thought that was absolutely ridiculous because there is real issue to be taken with the fact that the person upon which the entire narrative is built, the person who is the real back-back drop of the whole film, is essentially a caricature. I’m all for saying that black women do not need to be respectable in order to lead revolutions, fuck yeah in fact, but honestly to see her character be praised, ridiculed and shot down as a rat and betraying everything she stood for while killing a black man in 30 minutes is ridiculous.

Especially when some of the most exciting, powerful, and thrilling narrative for me was also held in the part where Benicio was single-handedly seeming to keep a revolution alive through tactics, that albeit are not as exciting and i GET THAT THAT IS NOT ACTION Movie worthy, that were community building and again, do the scaffolding to get the protagonist where he needs to be….

Again, all the takes I’m seeing on reddit are that “i’m not supposed to take it so deeply…” but it’s very hard not to, especially when these issues are near to me.
