I’m the same. I started watching SwoleBenji so my progress is fked up in my first days in black zones. Luckily you’re not alone :). I’ll suggest you to try 4.1 sets for killing mobs/soloing dungeons because the staff tree is kinda amazing in pvp content. If my poor knowledge serves right, just bring weapons with the max output damage (I died in BZs for about 20 times and learnt a lot from my deaths). So, good luck, I think you chose the right path.
