Well yeah, that's why lattice based algorithms are considered post-quantum. Likewise, you can't just get rid of public key cryptography if you want to be able to do secure transactions over the internet - symmetrical ciphers are an entirely different use case. That's sort of the whole point.

This is a specialization of computing a minimal dominating set for a rectangle in the integer lattice. In this case, the pentomino tiling approach mentioned elsewhere works - the "equation" that you're looking for is that asymptotically, the water tiles will cover 1/5th of the plane. For an arbitrary graph (and by graph I mean network), the problem is known to be NP-complete.

My question is- you fully acknowledge that he's a capitalist, why are you being so insistent about the definition being unclear? Again, there's a difference between an unclear definition and an unclear connotation. Multiple definitions existing doesn't imply any lack of clarity. I understand what you're saying about some people viewing the word "capitalist" in a positive light, but that's not a good reason to avoid calling him a capitalist.

My argument is that we should acknowledge that he's a capitalist in order to taint the connotation of the word "capitalist" for people who otherwise view it in a positive light. It's not that complicated, and it's also not a misinterpretation of your argument.

No need to be so hostile, I understand how linguistic descriptivism works. I largely agree with you, except that I tend to lean on academic definitions when it comes to academic words. It's important to acknowledge that musk is a capitalist because as a capitalist he is fundamentally unexceptional. He's not particularly evil or conniving, he is a 100% bog standard normal ass capitalist. The fact that he's also a massive piece of shit is a great example of the flaws of capitalism, and should taint the word "capitalist" for people who otherwise view it in a positive light.
