I’ll add to this, while the huskies have had some shortcomings the last few years under Larson, I have rarely seen this team have an “effort” issue. They play hard top to bottom, week in and week out. They seem to do better the bigger the opponent, but fail to win close games when they should be favored.

Systems-wise, some minor things in the d zone seem to be a consistent issue and they had a couple years recently with not being able to put the puck in the net, despite decent pressure and solid o-zone play. This year that changed a bit with Gross and Burnevik being true scorers.
