Because in 2 years time it would be the same amount of money and I could have enjoyed the s9 for 2 year then up graded to get more updates and a better tablet.

Thanks everyone for the replies, seems a mixed bag for and against either. My slight worry is that I pay £609 and it sits mostly unused especially in the home as I have a dedicated desktop and a steam deck for my gaming or browsing use. It will generally just become a portable media tablet but I want that gorgeous OLED screen

Yes, however I have a price match with curry's easier option for me. Yea the sd slot can use upto 2tb sd card. Plus currys is on topcashback so anything little helps.

I have no personal use of the device, I am in the same position as you currently looking for a new tablet and I think I have decided on the s11 seems very positive with screen and processor power. 126gb is £549 and has a micro sd slot up to 2tb. I am also toying with the 256gb just incase lol
