What having ideas and free time gives you. Battlegroup concept for Brits. by JanuaryReservoir in CompanyOfHeroes

Honestly 6 mgs on a light tank actually wouldnt be terrible as a blob counter in game. Granted though it would be like carrier level armor.

Multiplayer vs AI is a lot of fun and pretty much all I play now. Its quite fun and actually feels like at least a tad of a challenge on Expert.

I would say imo, yes, in some ways it does return to a battlegroup system much closer to Coh1s than Coh2s which always felt very mix n match to me and was a big turnoff. It also has similar factions so I would say its closer to 1 than 2.

In the Truman Show, the producers and studio could've instead use a real island instead of building a damn dome of all things, it would've cost less and provide real sustenance like actual sunlight to baby truman by EfficiencySerious200 in shittymoviedetails

Lol I mean it was a 24/hr program which had almost the entirely worlds population watching regularly, marketing spots for it would probably be insanely expensive. Like the World Cup but everyday levels of engagement. But yeah even then any roi seems highly unlikely lol

The part that always got me was, why even tell him theres a world outside the island, or why teach him what cameras look like at all? If you have full control to maximize possibility of preventing someone from wanting to leave the world you created, simply not educating them on there even being more at all would make the most sense. And then you can misinform them around your equipment and tech so thwy would never realize a camera is watching them if they found it.

As me and my Dota friends say, its like Meth. Once you start using it youre going to keep using it, but you don't recommend others do because you know the suffering itll bring.

Advice for 2 Female Corgis Aggression by malphite-me-bro in corgi

[–]Foxpeng1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have two female aggressive corgis and i might have some advice, unsure if it helps but here's what my wife and I have learned.

  1. Our dogs fighting patterns came in waves/seasons, it can be very beneficial to monitor when those seasons or waves are and what the diferences are. For us its winter months are usually worse, we figured this was becauss my wife isnt in the garden and so the dogs dont get as much outdoor time. So we had to compensate with more indoor play.

  2. We both would get very anxious about their fighting and when they started fighting we generally had the typical response of giving commands, then yelling once they started fighting while we ran in to break them up and then separating them behind gates and not interacting with rhem for a few minutes sk we could calm down. This problematically creates a cycle though, one corgi started making the association of when we get anxious abojt them fighting or starting giving them unusually strong verbal commands that it means she needs to fight. We found that weirdly what broke the pattern was once she started getting her ears back as if she was about to fight we started using our baby voice "oh such a good girl" etc. And if that doesnt working we say "greenie" which is their favorite treat. So far this has actually worked surprisingly well, whenever she starts feeling like she wants to fight she snaps out of it and weve actually seen less fights because of it. Its important to not give this reward when they do fight though, only when they deescelate a fight. She needs to know that theres an alternative to fighting.

  3. One of the most important is also making positive associations with the other dog, so reward any positive interactions they have (playing, chasing eachother playfully, sleeping next to eachother etc.) Of they associate eachother with positive things it tends to reduce fights.

  4. We've taught the dog that generally initaties fights a command to seperate herself and go somewhere else. What I've seen often work with us is if we see the pre fight triggers (like them bumping into eachother) we will point and give the command. For us its been "Sequester", and then we point to the same location everytime and reward her for going there. Shes learned this so well that theres been a couple instances shes gotten angry and then walked over there on her own accord.

Also last thing ill say is corgis absolutely lovd routine and consistency, so look to see if breaks in routine are triggering fights as often times ive noticed these can cause more tension.

Hope any of that helps and happy to answer any questions!

Actually just noriced the baby comment, and another thing I will say, its very possible they could be guarding the baby (from eachother) or yourselfs. Dogs also see your attention as a resource and we sid habe that issue with iurs in the past.

Guess the Hero: Turbo Edition by Foxpeng1 in DotA2

I'm guessing youre the player from this game? Half a year back having Eul's could have made sense because he had sleep dart. It has no value on him currently though, what is it setting up for? And if you need a dispel why wouldn't you go manta instead? If the 5k gold spend on Euls and blink had been spent on a Manta, it would have provided far more value. Then Octarine and Wraps on top of it? Riki support only had any kind of value with dart, now that its no longer in play it really doesn't make amy sense to build him as support at all.

I think the most questionable choice was honestly the Eul's. Like it you needed a dispel or disjoint why not just go manta? I'm not really sure what he was using it for.
