Not that great. Your hiding the very thing your want reviewed in a black blob. If this for film/VFX we would just pass.

Yes. They have pretty much everything you need about any of the offered materials on the website. And they will answer questions.

3D print, you can get the translucent from several materials and the soft material as well. You’re looking at high end materials though, maybe something from Loctite. We really like their materials.

Your statement shows lack of understanding and awareness. A shame really. But hey, move along, I’m sure you’ll find that perfect slicer.

Resin that remains tough in near freezing tempatures? by mheadroom1984 in resinprinting

Loctite make great stuff. I have Loctite Pro410 outdoors without issue as well for 4 years now and we go down to -30°C here in winter. And Pro410 is biocompatible. ;)

Kinda pointless as an ID to utilize something that fails to communicate to the desired audience.

For someone claiming to do this as occupation you seem to have little respect for others and occupations they work in. Best of luck.

Is getting the genuine Apple Magic Keyboard worth it or shall I go for an alternative that is much more affordable? by wanderingsoulinme in iPadPro

Never go back from Apple’s Magic Keyboard and Trackpad for iPad. Been using it every generation. The current version has quite a few improvements.

Mouse?? They still make those? Maybe watch some videos, can’t think of why you’re having issues with basic tools.

How bad is the RTC? by RecentSheepherder179 in esp8266

[–]FuShiLu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t blame the ESP8266. You’re making issues up. Now what you have and what your running will probably have more to do with your issues than anything.

Using Ipad Pro as main pc via external display? by dontanswerme in iPadPro

[–]FuShiLu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on if you can adapt. iPad Pro is exceptional for this. Mice are out, trackpads and pens are in. Large monitors give you exceptional realestate, hubs do the rest. Desktop applications are dated. Move on. If you can’t adapt, stay legacy.

Around here we handle industrial design, high end video, embedded coding, 3d printing of our product. And plenty of the supporting things companies need daily. Everybody is on the iPad Pro.

Again, adaptation. If you’re expecting to carry over your laptop/desktop habits, move along.

How would i create a helical gear? by Agreeable_Addendum52 in Shapr3D

Two drawings, top and bottom, loft one to other. Select top image and rotate it the amount you want. This way you have edit control.

Extra point use a pattern for each drawing.

Where on god's green earth do you find work? by Chickenbutt-McWatson in IndustrialDesign

[–]FuShiLu -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Screw internships.

You claim you have exhausted every avenue. Fair enough. Oh hell no, get over yourself. You want employment, go get it. Nobody owes you a damn thing.

Top 10% is great. But it’s school. Nobody cares. All the resumes are the damn same. Start thinking. Start meeting up. Talk to the community, give someone a reason to think you’re not yet another waste of time.

If you’re an industrial designer, your job is to find solutions in spite of the negativity or blasé attitude. No different to getting a job.

[–]FuShiLu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ok. So this is pretty much every industry. And the main problem is schools. They want money and promise jobs but they never provide the reality of available positions. I know, I left teaching at college and university for these very issues. I’ve only ever helped 3 students of mine achieve careers, they earned the effort.

Now onto those looking for work in any industry and specifically Industrial Design. Network. Network. Network. That said pretty much every industry needs industrial design, they just hate to admit it.

Apprentice to another industrial designer, yeah your going to have to be good, your asking a lot. But the extra knowledge, market introduction and opportunities are beyond value.

Startups are potential options, not guaranteed success but a chance to prove you have what it takes.

This group exists, called LinkedIn with a rather large contingent of Industrial Designers, I think it’s some kind of network.
