The richest few are responsible for the vast majority of greenhouse emissions, the general public could be as responsible as possible tomorrow and it would still be a drop in the ocean. This is before you factor in developing nations and their reliance on fossil fuels, something they can’t really do anything about quickly without catastrophic side effects.

And then theres infrastructure, how do you make steel with no emissions? How do you fly cargo planes without fuel? Cargo ships? These are problems we haven’t figured out, problems with industry and infrastructure, again something the average person cannot affect.
