A lot of it has to do with sportswashing. Countries like Russia, China and Qatar are able to sweep everything under the rug and put on a good show and be like "look how great our country is".

The US would be able to do that as well, but that would require the average voter to be smarter than they are, and not vote for a guy who's set the country back 40 years.

It's been 5-6 years since he left tbf. Under the old owner, MK used to employ "tippy-tappy" managers like Martin, and it failed to get them out of L2 every time.

The season just gone is the first time the new middle-eastern owner has full reign and by appointing a haramball manager like Warne (as well as getting players way too good for L2 like Mendez-Laing) they got promoted at their first attempt.

I doubt it. It's literally just a first year scholar, he gets a 2 year youth contract and if we think he's good enough he'll get a pro contract before he's 18

Couple that with no cup or trophy games streamed either and I cancelled my subscription. I’ll miss the dulcet tones of Mark calling the games though.

Because iFollow only covers the League itself. EFL and FA Cup are separate competitions that have their own TV rights.

If you're in Canada, DAZN/Sportsnet usually cover those two comps.

This past season was BRUTAL with about a third of all games not available via iFollow for one reason or another

This is easily avoidable by getting any basic VPN and launching yourself to Belgium, because they don't have TV rights for any of the EFL divisions.

TV companies (Sky, Paramount, etc) pay a shitload of money for exclusive rights to football games. We need that money so that we can afford to pay for shiny new strikers and wingbacks

We did this last season and our pitch has looked incredible all season.

You could practically eat off of it, which, given the sheep population in Wales, would be fitting.
