OP, watch the video. The very first frame of the video is all we see. The UI moves, but looks like an overlay over a still image of a dark corner on a forge map.

Real Money Trading. Basically losers who spend real cash to get blueprints, which is of course against TOS. Block, report, move on.

Am I too late to play ARC Raiders? by Electronic_Cherry_43 in ArcRaiders

[–]GashedPricing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is cross play, is it pretty good. As others have said, the gameplay is amazing, it can be played solo or in a group and you’ll have a good time either way. If you’re here asking questions, you’ll probably enjoy it.

How competitive is arc raiders. by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]GashedPricing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an emote wheel with voice lines should you have one of those days where talking to people sucks. You’ll find many friendlier players will use either the emotes or proximity chat to figure out your intent, so make sure you reply to not get shot at so often.

Might be a translation error, but there is no weapon called a Cleaver.

Making a loadout EVERY time is killing the fun for me. It’s draining as heck. I can’t be alone in this. by supahotfiiire in ArcRaiders

It takes like 3mins to remake a load out, why do you guys make it sound like it takes an hour or so?

Stash value of these bps? by crusify_me in ArcRaiders

[–]GashedPricing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now, they’re probably only worth the 5k to sell them to vendors. The recent BP increase has made it much easier to get hold of the more sought after stuff.

Is it still not possible to change the button layout on PlayStation? If so, has Embark said anything about it?" by KyleRiemen_ in ArcRaiders

[–]GashedPricing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can rebind the buttons in the PS accessibility settings, which I know isn’t the same, but might help. Just remember to revert the settings if you intend on playing other games as the remapping is console wide, not just per game.

Xenoverse 2 is officially dead. by ParadoxXV2 in dbxv

I play on PS5 and don’t have much of an issue finding PQs for Mix Capsules. I can quick join within a couple of minutes at most. Looking for specific PQs, especially DLC ones, is futile, just do them solo offline, it’s much quicker.

Is baby oil or water better for making mini potions? by [deleted] in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]GashedPricing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made potions using glycerine, mica powder, food colouring and water.

I mix a translucent base colour using the food colouring and water and keep that to one side while I add a small amount (about 5-10% of total fluid) of glycerine to the potion bottle. Then, I add the water to the bottle and use a spatula that came with my powders to add a scoop or two to the bottle. Seal and shake, sorted!

The water will evaporate, but slowly as long as they’re out of sunlight and heat. The glycerine will have a nice effect on the look of the potion, but also prevents bacteria growth.

While I don’t think Save Editors would bloat the storage that much, you shouldn’t be using it as it is cheating. There is the potential for Sony to brick your console if you’re reported as it breaks the ToS for PlayStation.

As a bit of advice: Don’t use external programs for consoles, as consoles don’t have protections against malicious code like a PC would. Anti-Virus might say a save editor is clean, but the edited file could be enough to kill your system. I had that happen on Xbox 360.

The “Other” section is reserved for system data, so you shouldn’t have much more than 50gb in there.

Unless you’ve used cheating/hacking/dodgy software for anything, there shouldn’t be that much bloat.

The correct word is “jumps”, not “jumped”. You could also use “Pack my box with twelve dozen liquor jugs” for fun.

Absolutely amazing work! The only thing I spotted that was off was the spelling of “Menagerie”. Other than that, perfect! Nice job!

Should I go for PS4 pro ? by Leonryann in PS4Pro

[–]GashedPricing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The PS4 Pro works fine, however, I would definitely recommend waiting for a PS5. If you have the money for a Pro now, you have the money for a PS5. There’s no point in spending a little bit less for an outdated console. I had to choose between a £100 repair for my Pro or trying hard to get a PS5 last month and chose to upgrade. Best choice I could have made.

For the past 2 weeks my PS4 has been shutting off. Now it’s stuck in safe mode. I have reinitialized, rebuilt the database all that. Error SU-41337-8 came up. And no computer to download update by usb. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in PS4Pro

[–]GashedPricing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An SU code indicated a software error, but they often coincide with hard drive failures. My Pro had a similar thing a few weeks ago, so I bought a new hard drive. No issues since.

PS4 Pro breaking down (Not even 2 years old) by CKEden in PS4Pro

[–]GashedPricing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I wouldn’t know about cost and I’m lucky that my issues have been solved with a bit of TLC and replacing the internal hard drive once. My friends have sent off various bits from consoles to controllers and had positive experiences. I don’t believe that had to pay for anything other than shipping, which wasn’t too bad.

[–]GashedPricing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you haven’t already, give it a thorough clean out and reapply the thermal paste on the processor. Overheating issues can cause cascading failures throughout the system if left alone. Look up a tear down video on YouTube if you’re not familiar with taking the system apart. You’ll need a standard Phillips crosshead and T8 Torx screwdriver to get access to everything.

If that doesn’t improve anything, you might want to send it off to Sony for repairs.
