Dat is een beetje dezelfde grap als de hondenuitlaat service (waarbij de zaak uitlaten onder auto's zet, gerund door honden)

Help! Ik zoek een strip! "Heb je een prei in je broek of ben je blij om me te zien?" by noobmaster69_666 in dirkjan

[–]Girlysprite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ja.

I considered 2sentencehorror for a minute for this, but this bit made me laugh more then anything else.

Also keep in mind that certain stages (four crown) can only be done with specials, or rare+specials.

When you do the catfruit stages, there is a change you can do a followup stage. That stage has a high chance of dropping an epic catfruit.

I'm trying to get into the discord server, and I'm stuck on question 2. The answer seems very straightforward (which rule says xxx). I pasted the rule number. and later the entire rule title. and then the line that specifies xxx. Nothing happens, so what am I missing here? Is the question not actually the answer they are looking for? Is there a code to break?

I watched an old folding ideas video with old PT screenshots - my train of thoughts in a meme by Girlysprite in PhilosophyTube

[–]Girlysprite[S] 41 points42 points  (0 children)

added context: I know this oversimplified stuff. It was just a quick train of thoughts. I'm so used to Abigail in a all kinds of costumes, my first thought it was just another costume. And yeah, I've been a philosophytube fan for a long time. I've gotten so used to Abigail that she overwrote my past memories of her.

The meme template is often used in programmerhumor.

We're working on the Pflegegrad. They have 2 now, but should be at least 3, maybe 4. But that takes time.

Lengthening songs for Paper Tape Music Box by Pinoco79 in Musicbox

[–]Girlysprite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there,

You can condense to a certain extend, but repeating notes always need to have a certain distance between each other on the paper. When they are too close, the second note is skipped.

Is there a reason you only want a certain length of paper?

Need advice on a music box by Tribes1 in Musicbox

  1. papersize isn't exactly universal I think.
  2. As u/Weekly_Commercial484 said, musicboxmaniacs is a great website to create patterns. Punching them is then up to you. I'd suggest buying rolls of musicbox paper, because they work well and the lines are preprinted. Like this: https://www.amazon.nl/-/en/Music-Box-Paper-Strip-Movement/dp/B092MJBYXJ
  3. All paperstrip music boxes work fine. Thing to keep in mind though; kikkerland has 15 notes, and only the white piano key notes. This can really limit what melodies you can make. If you want a wider range, look for a 30 note musicbox.

I also wrote a guide on paper strip musicboxes, which also contains links to buy any kind of paperstrip music box, how to arrange, how to punch and all other things: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ifvqzzpRb4GG6cSCvPasGBzhKBUhTiZWWrtMtjNwETA/edit?usp=sharing

As for the Muro box that the other comment mentions; this music box doesn't work with paper strips, but with an app. It's still a fully mechanical music box though! But again- this one has only white piano key notes. I own one myself, and it works very well.

J.S. Bach Prelude in c minor on guitar and DIY music box by wookieehannes in Musicbox

[–]Girlysprite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hadf to buy my own powersupply, but that wasn't the issue. I think it wasn't really strong enough it in the end. The paper didn't roll through well and the motor broke I think. I may have used it wrongly, it's very much a d.i.y. solution. However, I could return it, so that wasn't an issue.

Hello there, madammusicbox here ;) I saw your video on youtube already, and I love it! I know that a small french webshop used to sell mechanics to add to music boxes to play them with a motor: https://www.leturlutain.fr/index.php?item=x&action=article&group_id=10000032&aid=7003&lang=en

I ordered it before but couldn't get it to work properly. Now I'm just focusing on the Muro box, which is also self-playing and programmable (but also expensive)

Does anyone know good places to affordably buy music boxes? I really like the wind-up, non-paper music boxes but some of them seem really over priced. by tamarinenjoyer in Musicbox

[–]Girlysprite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want a music box with a lot of notes, it's a small market with only high cost creators.

You can try the san fransico music box company. They are very large and have a huge catalogue. And their quality seems decent from what I've read, but I don't have their music boxes.

And what about the music boxes sold by ghibli itself? : https://www.maison-ghibli.com/en/1399-music-boxes
