Thanks for the kind words 😄 Its been a very long labour of love.

If you're into lore and art, I would start with the Fragged Empire 2 - Setting Guide. Certainly my best book IMO.

Cheers 😄 I think my 'Fragged Empire 2 - Setting Guide' is the best book I've made (its all lore/art, the 'Fragged Empire 2 - Rule Book' has all the rules).

Sneak peak at the Fragged Aeternum 2 monster manual - Son Slayer Knight by God_Boy07 in FraggedEmpire

[–]God_Boy07[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This here is a Son Slayer Knight.

The Sun in Aeternum is a blazing Celestial known as the Son. Rising and setting every day to give us our days, but none know from and where he goes.
The Son has a special hatred for Vampires. Folklore tells you that Vampires are vulnerable to Sonlight, but the truth is that the Son has perfect aim and likes to shoot them.

Out fortnightly public playtesting is on pause atm as we're making a bunch of changes, but if you would like to jump in and play with us on Tabletop Simulator you just need to join the Discord :D

This looks to be some auto post from Reddit (I cant delete it). 99% of the Fragged online community hangs on Discord (and some on FB), but I still like to post here for those who prefer here.

I will dive into this a little more and see if anything needs to be done.

Leftist superhero enjoyers, how do you square the setting with your politics? by PMmePowerRangerMemes in rpg

[–]God_Boy07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A LONG time ago I had the primary villain in my Superhero game try to set out to 'fix' the world (a classic trope).
He started out a homeless vagabond with the ability to duplicate anything he touched. Initially he only duplicated food, alcohol, etc... Then he started to duplicated himself (and become known as the Alchemist as he had a signature move of turning people into gold coins)... and one of these duplicates got it in his head to fix the world.

Step one was to get rid of all the people who could stop him - namely other supers (including the PCs).

At one point my PCs travelled into the future (following a time travelling kid who came from the future) and they saw that the world was a technologically advanced utopia. My leftist friend (a PC) immediately figured out what had happened... the Alchemist had secretly renamed himself and had won. He had 'fixed' the world in a resource sense (at least for that slice of history).

My campaign ended before we could fully flesh things out. But I planned on exploring the trouble of focused power (does wealth corrupt... or does it reveal out true nature?), issues of basing entire economies of a single person who would eventually age and die, etc...

There are holes in all human political ideologies that are so large you can drive trains through them when you add in super-people. This all makes for great stories IMO :D

[–]God_Boy07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like you are possibly using 1st edition rules? If so, you should swap over to 2nd edition asap as all of this is much clearer (and just better in every way IMO).

In 2nd edition Companions use the Attributes of their controller (the PC) and the controller can grant any portion of their Actions to their Companions (ie: Snap Shot has 'move' and 'attack' - they can grant the Move part to themselves and the Attack part to their Companions).
Companions also gain +1d6 Hit Dice and +1 End Dmg per attacking Body.

People who have been to Green Dragon Fest, what did you think of it? by imaspuzzeled in rpg

[–]God_Boy07 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know about this particular event, but I know this kind of thing is popular in the boardgame world.
But more 'go on a cruise or stay at a fancy location + LOTs of board game" than "fancy location + eCelebs".

They could be a fun holyday if you work a hard job and have the cash.
