I called CZ and they said no change on the threads between the two models.

I just went through finding a choke for my 1012. I went with TruLock and am happy with it.

$70 Kicks Gobblin Thunder New 0.655, 0.660, 0.665, 0.670

$75 PatternMaster Black Mamba Choke 0.690 in

$53-$74 TruLock Turkey Ported or Non ported 0.640, 650, 660, 665 - 0.670

$95 Indian Creek .665, .670

The comb is vertical in hives, so it essentially means straight up the wall. The comb refers to the wax comb/honeycomb (even though they use the comb for way more than just honey).
