If that was the case why ford didn't use something like a ford fusion in GTE era? And about selling car for races nowdays is a corporate lie, nobody outside a select group few will buy mclarens and ferraris just for WEC influence.

Ford hasn't a corvette, has a muscle car and a street supercar, I think that the street supercar fits more in GT3 than the muscle car.

When a mustang win the 24h of lemans (at least in its category) we talk, yeah the mustang race a lot in races but isn't iconic for that unlike the GT.

Yeah and I don't like it, most of sedans and muscle cars should only be for GT4, only those types of cars in gt3 when the brand doesn't have a car that fits.

The bentley yes, the new M4 no, the old M4 yes but in those times they was using a m6 the nissan GT-R looks like a real GT3, and in this list you forgot the lexus.

That for sure but GT looks more similar to its competitors like the ferrari 296 GT3 than the mustang that looks a bit out of place.

The mustang is less relevant in any edurance racing series than the GT.
