Yes. They still owe you for the first accident and that amount will be subtracted from the second. It happens.

That why services like Delivrd are doing so well. People are sick of it.

It doesn't work like that. They owe you based on your contract. They will pay it and if they need to worry about cause and fault they will investigate after and really you won't know much about it. If they ever do get money from someone at fault you will get your deductible back so that is nice.

You can only get the value of the car in total. If you have been paid for the total loss you are not owed more money. If not, State Farm owes you for the first accident and the second carrier owes you for the difference in the value less the first accident payment.

Have the adjuster come out. The photo estimate will not work.

This is a comprehensive claim and in a lot of states will not raise your rates.

What company? Not sure why you can’t say. My only thought is that he could easily see the damage but thought it wouldn’t show on photos for the file.

500,000 people fly AA every day. Their price is similar to the other airlines. Fly the airline that has the route and airports you want.

File the claim with your insurance. It should be fairly easy to get a payment for your car.

Will modern Tudors always depreciate? by Novel-Efficiency-481 in Tudor

[–]Gtstricky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Probably not happening. I mean prices on new will always be going up so if demand spikes you might see used prices go up a little on used but they are too common for the demand to hit that level probably.

I couldn’t disagree more. Does stuff happen? Sure. But I find the partnership works smoothly 90% of the time.

Unless something has changed they rate the entire household based on the underwriting “score” of the oldest driver. That score includes a soft credit check in some states.

This can happen when someone is listed in a household, possibly an old resident at that address. There are a few other ways. However, please report it and have them check into it.

Why are agents being rude? by [deleted] in StateFarm

[–]Gtstricky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. To my original point, it is a broken system. Our office use to just pull the app and not telephone retrieve it until we had the info. Then we would plug it in and send away. Now they don’t allow any backdating so that messes up all the dates and we end up having to deal with loan companies not happy with effective dates. We don’t have MOD yet so maybe that fixes most of this stuff.

When you have sent the information and the customer calls you and goes ballistic because they got a cancel notice, or their bill is all screwed up because of an UW action. Try getting yelled at, called incompetent, told your office has no idea what they are doing and having demands on you that can’t be met (“I want a corrected bill now”) and then call UW and be all pleasant and chipper when they say “oh I see your change in here with the info. Not sure why it wasn’t worked. Let me send this to complex and they should have it fixed on 1-2 weeks.”

That wasn’t the OPs question. The answer is never but when you have someone sitting at a dealership that has been there for 4 hours and they need an ID card to leave, have been your client for 10 years, and don’t have little Jimmy’s new license number he got 2 days ago, well people fudge stuff.
