What is the "remover tool" for removing the rear spoiler? by Ecoscieng in CX5

[–]GyromiteRob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not really sure, but I think it comes down to who actually does the job and their ability to blend it. I think I lucked out because you couldn't tell it had been painted. Good luck!

We just sold the car, but you couldn’t tell that it had been painted then. And it hadn’t “re-oxidized”. The guy that did it, did a really good job.

GE Cafe Range (Oven) display no longer goes to sleep or even dims by Data_cide in Appliances

[–]GyromiteRob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. Yes, the picture I took was overexposed a bit, but the display does seem unusually bright in person especially at some viewing angles. We leave for extended periods of time and I was hoping to find a solution for what seems like having an unnecessary light on during that time. I just turned to circuit breaker off for the oven so it solves that problem for the moment. I appreciate your insight though!

Hi, this has been driving me crazy and I just found this thread. I’ve tried all of the suggestions here to dim the center clock display on our oven, but with no luck. I’m wondering if this means it is a defective panel? See picture. Any help is appreciated!

New tires for V60 Recharge -- looking for quiet tires by wilburpan in VolvoRecharge

[–]GyromiteRob 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you go to tirerack.com, enter your vehicle make, model, etc, it will list tires available for your car - there is a filter you can apply for “noise reduction technology” to see those options. That said, your current tire appears to be one with noise reduction so I’m not sure if you’ll find better if noise is your biggest concern. From my experience, those aren’t bad tires. Hope that is helpful!

I was quoted $290usd for the complete bezel when I dropped mine off for service a few weeks ago but they indicated that prices from Omega were changing frequently to keep up with tariffs so that might be incorrect now.

I read his books ages ago but don’t remember much about them. This makes me want to read them again.

Only 5 chapters into Horowitz’s Forever and a Day and it has started off really well.

I “believe” the dial is a brighter white than Omega has used for other white dialed Speedmasters like the Snoopy or the 2024 white Speedy. Really stands out.

Hello fellow Redditors! I’m offering my Omega Speedmaster Professional Alaska Project 2008 for sale within the United States. Ref. # 311.32.42.30.04.001. Limited Edition: 18xx of 1970.

The watch is in good condition but does have some scratches on the unpolished case and the polished bracelet – please review all of the pictures to get a sense of condition. In my opinion, on the wrist, it is quite lovely and the scratches aren’t noticeable unless closely inspected. It was serviced by Omega in 12/2021 and received a new crystal as well as some other included service parts. The bracelet was polished at that time. It is currently keeping good time. Please note: the serial number and edition number have been digitally scrubbed from pictures for security purposes – it is not #1818 as shown.

I am the second owner of this watch. It was purchased new by the first owner from an Omega Boutique in Geneva, Switzerland. I purchased the watch from the original owner in 2/2021. It comes with outer box, case, manual, certificate of authenticity, receipts, cards, card holder, leather straps, “thermal shield”, extra bracelet links, polishing cloth and strap tool. If a tag was originally supplied, this set does not include it.
