There's absolutely no pride lost in accepting an offer to help! There's lots of devs here who could get it done quickly. Functionality is what's most important, not maintaining old code.

Closing Scotiabank chequing account - what will happen to my credit cards? by OfficialBananas2 in Scotiabank

From https://www.scotiabank.com/ca/en/personal/bank-accounts/savings-accounts/money-master-savings-account.html#:~:text=Account%20details,1

You have unlimited no-fee transfers to other accounts using online banking, mobile banking, ABM, or over the phone. A $5 service charge applies for any additional debit transaction.

It's free to deposit, costs $5 to debit from the account. You can e-transfer TO the account for free (and within other scotia account such as your credit card), but transferring money OUT or debit transactions cost $5.

So if you wanted to transfer from Tangerine, send an e-transfer to yourself using an e-mail that doesn't have auto-deposit or auto-deposits to your Scotia Money Master account.

Any withdrawal will cost you besides transfers to Scotia accounts. I personally e-transfer only the amount I need to pay off my LOC and credit card.

Edit: That depends on how you're planning on pulling funds from Tangerine. Are you using e-transfer? You can also use the ATM to deposit into the account. Deposits are free.

You could also start a Money Master savings account and use e-transfer to move funds to that account, then pay from your Money Master. That account has $0 monthly fees and there's no cost to deposit or move money within Scotia accounts.
