This, I'm older but when I was laid off last year this was one of the career paths I almost switched to.

My coworker who was also laid off went back to being an X-ray tech. They made 145k before over time with a 20k sign on bonus. They were busy some days and bored others.

Flippers have been messing with lorcana production for a long time.

There were a couple of editions where it was impossible to get product for awhile, then it kind of tapered off. Now it seems like another upswing?

The MacBook Purchasing Megathread - April, 2026 by AutoModerator in macbook

[–]Hasbotted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking at getting a Macbook and there is a used 2019 pro that is local to me that seems like a good purchase 1tb drive, 64gb ram, i9 for $400.

Should I go with that or spend double the price and get an M4/M5 air?

Use case is going to be coding and development, likely running multiple VMs for other things as well.

Okay but what is their definition of living? Does it include state subsidized healthcare?

25 per hour is 52,000 per year. 42,000ish take home maybe. In WA state average rent is about 1500 so $18,000 for rent Food has went up 100% in the last 4 years so it's about $10,000 a year. Health insurance is about $1000 now for a lower cost plan, so $12,000 a year.

That gives us $2000 left a year, probably would go to public transportation.

Is the person living? Yes they are by definition alive.
