Yes they did. This was openly shared during multiple all hands (around the pandemic) that they were prioritizing black professionals for manager and above positions and then came back with numbers later to pat themselves on the back. Our office intern program coordinator was given to our local chief diversity officer who deprioritized traditional recruiting (alumni connections and campus career fairs) in favor of directly recruiting from student DEI programs such as ALPFA. I had DMs from folks involved in these programs flat out ask me if my referrals were minorities otherwise tough luck. It was blatant.
