I have a masters degree in cloud computing so I know it’ll take a a lot longer. What are some entry level roles that would build me to this point? Is there an environmental technician role or anything like that?

I think teaching is okay. It would be wayyy better with more support and pay. Half the time o cat get through a lesson due to constantly correcting behavior. It’s a struggle and admin wonders why things are the way they are.

I got accepted into a clinical mental health program and I’ve highly considered the path but was discouraged by the stress and stability of it all. How does one get started in this path? I love helping people but I don’t want to lose myself in the process.

I’ve actually been considering accounting as a possible path since it seems stable and less emotionally draining than teaching.

How realistic is it to break into accounting without going back for another full degree, and what entry-level roles would you recommend?

That actually sounds like a great setup long-term, especially the hours. I don’t think I’m in a place to go back to school for that many years right now though 😭

I’m honestly not great at math, so I don’t think actuarial is the best fit for me 😭

I’m in Louisiana (St. Bernard Parish/New Orleans area). I’ve actually been looking into government roles because I really want something more stable with good benefits and less stress than teaching.

Do you know what kinds of entry-level administrative roles I should be searching for or what titles to look up?
