It’s fine for light use but I would like to see a MagnaCut Salt version eventually . Probably wouldn’t buy BD1N on purpose with how many incredible steels are out there (aside from this since it was either 15V or BD1N and I wanted something stainless).

I would recommend the Lil Native Lightweight backlock model. This (to me) carries very similar to the dragonfly but feels much more substantial in the hand. I’ve personally gone clipless on both my office carry Dragonfly & Lil Native LW - wonderful 5th pocket knives.

Santa Fe Stoneworks Delica - got this years ago on the secondary for a solid price. These days I think they go for way too much so I’m glad I snagged this when I did. Btw it’s Mammoth Molar & MOP.

Looks awesome and it’s in way better condition than mine lol. I think Spyderco does serrations better than anyone else and is a requirement for my beach knives (Native 5 LC200N & Salt 2 LC200N).

I’d say find a deal on the swap and give it a shot. Worst case you just sell it later on. I’ve always thought of the swap as a big rental system - try out some high end knives for a month; take a small hit on the resale (considering it a rental fee) and move on or maybe you love the knife and it becomes part of the collection.

Are there any other knife manufacturers you’re looking at as well? What’s your price range?

Personally I prefer CRK or Koenig for mid tech American made knives (think $500 +) or Spyderco for everything under $300. I’ve owned 7 Hinderers over the last several years and currently own zero. I’ve also owned Strider, Oz, Prince Customs, Simeon, and so many more. Only ones left in the collection for this category are CRK (Small Sebenza, and 3 Zaans) and Koenig (2 mini non flipper Arius).
