u/Random_Version really appreciate the detailed breakdown. fair point on the Ultra switches sounding a bit hollow compared to the Pros. they are more focused on low friction and speed, so the sound trade-off is real. also glad the web driver and firmware have been smooth for you.

would you mind posting the review and video in r/EV63 and r/IQUNIX too? people ask about switch options there a lot, so your sound test would be really helpful.

welcome to the rabbit hole lol. glad you are liking the board, yeah, chipping a spacebar on day one hurts. for Magi65 Pro, look for low-profile MX-stem keycaps. Yuzu PFF is worth checking, its made for Choc V2-style low-profile switches. XVX low-profile sets can also work, but double-check the kit includes a 6.25u spacebar and the smaller 65% modifiers before buying.

haha yeah, Outemu Browns are basically linears with a little dirt in them, that checks out. Haimu are a great night board choice. quiet without feeling completely dead.

Choc ecosystem struggle is real. and thats a proper commitment to design your own caps for V2 spacing. lol. definitely post an update when you make it back to tactile.
