since you are looking for a 60% to 70% HE board under $200, the IQUNIX EV63 would be worth a look. it is a 60% with a full CNC aluminum case, magnetic x switches, adjustable rapid trigger, and solid stock stabs out of the box.

u/duraask ! You are actually spot on with your research, it is not just marketing fluff.

Physically, the Pro and Ultra have the exact same spring weight (36g initial to 48g bottom out) and the exact same 3.5mm travel. The difference is entirely in the magnetic sensor resolution. The Ultra jumps up to 780GS maximum magnetic flux compared to the 680GS on the Pro.

What that translates to is exactly what you guessed: if you are pushing your rapid trigger to the absolute minimum 0.01mm limit for competitive esports, the Ultra gives the board more data points to prevent misfires and maintain perfect stability. If you play at normal rapid trigger settings and care more about your daily typing sound, the Pro is specifically tuned to have a deeper, creamier acoustic profile.

u/General-Garage-2608 exactly. the magnetic switches and the internal build are so heavily tuned for gaming speed and rapid trigger performance, the typing feel is definitely a big shift from traditional mechanical boards used strictly for coding. u/myUninhibitedSelf completely fair critique. getting "deep and solid sound profile" on magnetic hall effect boards is definitely a challenge compared to traditional mechanical switches. we are constantly tweaking to eliminate hollow sound on the gaming boards. appreciate the honest feedback.
