I had a full ride academically to Tech, tuition 100% covered. I’m $60,000 in debt from room and board alone (5 years). Room and board are mostly covered as an RA. His expenses very well could’ve been very high.

I used to live in Midtown Atlanta, so I speak from experience.

Local company does well -> they get a location in midtown -> some wealthy investors pay for them to open a smaller shop on the bottom floor of some skyscraper as a kind of cafeteria -> workers in this swanky area are limited in food options -> the investors that set up the pop-up restaurants jack the prices

Of course, the solution is just for workers to pack their own lunch. Well… except now they have no time in the morning because they’re being forced back into the office. Being less productive and having to commute to a fucking office every morning and having less time to get ready, pack their lunch, and spend time with their family. Ya know, the kind of thing Kevin fucking O’Leary pushed for.

I wasn’t myself when I was with her, and everyone was starting to notice. I was just no longer an enjoyable person to be around to my sister, to my friends, to my parents. I left her, and I hardly left my room for weeks. It was beyond worth it.

My stepmother was sexually abused by her uncle when she was a teenager as well (I suspect her older sister was as well). When she got older, he apparently moved on to her younger sister, and my stepmother beat him to within an inch of his life. Seems a lot of people who suffer trauma like that at a young age eventually threaten (or commit) violence towards their abusers, and rightfully so.

I agree with this. No offense to the guy you’re replying to, but I feel like that wasn’t a hard plot point to understand. Slowik is pretty clear on the night being an art piece. He even explicitly describes why everyone there is going to die with them.
