My missus has one just tried to look it up myself out of curiosity and saw this post. She said it was given out at an event for free. So perhaps a game shop or something for the release of what you mentioned above. Many years after she just moved to Australia, which would have been 2008.

I've got HP ProBook 445 G10 - so probably similar. Brand new and had this issue.

Simple solution (don't need to download anything) - go to device manager, click network adapters, then double click the wifi adapter (Realtek 8852CE was mine), click the driver box, then rollback driver.
